Bad Job here. Not positive news.
Spare a thought for the 27 year-old woman and her daughters who have to listen today as my old man and th parish priest go to see them in a hospice, and tell them that the mother will almost certainly be dead this time tomorrow
Its a funny thing when you come downstairs in the morning and Dad drops somthing into the conversation along the lines of "I have to go and see that lady in XXXXX Hospice and tell he she has one day to live"
Its a little hard to manage your toast and muesli after that.
So anyway, speare a thought for cancer victims, I'm sure everyone has been affected by it in some way by now.
As an interesting aside, contrary to popular belief, cancer is not a disease as we normally perceive it. It is a mutation of totally ordinary cells, which happens to all of us all the time. When it strikes a certain part of cells that divide abnormally it leads to cancer, thats all there is to it.
So there's my cheery thought for the day! Sorry about that. Happy fluffy news to follow I promise, but that is something kinda weird to hear first thing in the morning and its a wee bit stuck in my mind, you could say.
