Pah!

Decided to test shoot some guns I've got but haven't yet reviewed.

First off was my WA Beretta Tactical Elite - Damn thing wouldn't cycle with its Elite mag (I later found it was fine with another, standard, mag I have, so obviously a wierd mag fault of some sort).

Second up was my MGC Glock 18C - Seemed OK, but then started double feeding... Oh well... I'll come back to that - Maybe try it with more BBs in the mag or try the long mag I have.

Finally I gassed up my Tanaka Browning Hi-Power - I've fired this quite a bit since getting it, but hadn't fired it at any targets - Filled it with 134a, turned the mag over and...all the gas fizzed out of the joint between the base and the body... Supposedly a common Tanaka fault, but one I'd not encountered with my Luger.

So, 100% failure rate - The Browning's mag is stripped down and the seal is now soaking in PAS fluid for a few days to see if it'll revitalise...

Don't you just love GBBs?!?!?

Yes. And no.

Those bloody Hi-Powers ###### me off too, damned mag wouldn't take pretty much any gas at all - one fill lasted about 2/3rds of a mag - and then the finish (of the silver MkIII at least) is frankly p***.

But hey, at least yours doesn't forcibly eject the mag when you fire it more than 6 times in succession! laugh.gif

Don't you just hate GBBs wink.gif

Unsurprisingly the WA was easiest to fix.

The allen bolt on the back of the top valve had come loose - Tightened it up and it was shooting like a good 'un again.

Now just to sort of the Tanaka and the MGC!

Cheers.
