Good... our first blog.. of the day!
The title of this entry comes from the beginning of Empire Stikes Back, this idiot just has one line to say - Good, our first catch of the day- and he totally messes it up.
Anyway, haven't softed for 5 Months and have a game on Sunday, should be a gooden only taking the two G36s, and probably an AEP.
My parts arrived from Fire Support and Zero One on Wednesday and I ordered them on Tuesday - result. 2 white G&P Pistons and an ICS turbo 3000. My long g36 is now very naughty and very single shot only. M160, mosfet, 12volt, 6.03mm, plus LOADS of other extras, will let you know the chrono result, aiming for the big 5XXfps obviously.
My fiesta is getting taken away and scrapped tomorrow, a week after I was rear ended the gearbox failed, only have 3rd gear now... had to get it home 3 miles with just 3rd gear... try that some time, it was a mission I tell ya. I'm really going to miss it, it was only a 1.25l, but my mechanic remapped it and it was really nippy for it's engine size, plus you could rev the pants off it. vmax 115mph on the clock. ~ 80bhp.
The real dilema is what car to get next; the heap of ###### Mondeo I'm driving at the moment is going in February. Thank god, it's so bad, 1.8TD.. 190,000 miles, drives like a fu*king barge. Anyway, Saxo VTR or Fiesta Zetec-S... chav mobils I know, but I enjoy a spirited drive.
Sundays form of transport will be a mates 1.0l 8v polo, 50bhp when new, now.. 90,000 miles later I dread to think.
My friend/work buddy just called to say he beat a old Mini cooper S in a race.... he drives a new copper D... it was from a roll not a dig, so the torque was the deciding factor I think... and poor driving from the S. vmax from the cooper D 135mph on the clock, very impressive, 110bhp, 191lb ft of torque, 6 speed box, great handling. Awesome company car, shame I don't have one.
Is it wrong to do gearbox work, test fire AEG's and go on Arnies when your Mrs is clearly asking for some attention, I try to explain it's quality time we're spending together and it gives us time to talk, but I'm not sure we see fully eye to eye?
