Happy New Year

Welcome to 2008, I do wonder what the New Year holds for the wonderful world of gas powered airsoft replicas. I have chosen my first project of the new year, and it is going to be a Glock 26, semi auto. Right now I am planning on building a TM Glock 26 and installing a Guarder steel slide set, but we shall see how it turns out. If I can't find the slide set, then I will be building a semi-auto G26C from KSC. We shall see how it turns out in the end.

I also bought a SIIS Desert Eagle 10". I have kicked around building a Zeke bodied 10" TM, but it was just so expensive I never got around to it. I do think that would look amazing (I was going to use a Chrome model as a base gun). Guns N Guys has the SIIS on sale for less than a $100, I think it was like $60-70 so it was too good to pass up. I will get around to reviewing it at some point, especially since Snowman already has a great review up. Speaking of Justpistols, my Sig P210-6 review is up now and my head swells with pride. Check out all the greatness (Snowman's and my little contribution) here.

Reviewing is so odd, it is like a need for me. Every new gun screams out for a review, but man is it amazingly hard to actually accomplish. Compounded by my need to order all the upgrades at the same time, it is hard to hold off on upgrading long enough to give the gun a good review. Thankfully I didn't bother reviewing the SP2009, what a pile of ######. I still have some upgrades left in the mail, hopefully one of them will get the gun shooting again. If not, someone is going to get a smoking deal on a half-firing gun. If you want a SP2009, let me know. If the FireFly parts don't get it shooting, it could be yours for .50 cents on the dollar. It does look nice though.

I might have a two new client projects. One is to upgrade a WE to fire a bit better. I need to come up with a parts list tonight so I can get it started. The second is going to be a bit harder to accomplish. Someone is looking for a Jack Bauer P226, but I have yet to find a source for a two-tone PGC body. If I can find one, then I will get to build a P226. Nice to see the build side picking up some, hopefully I don't become the go to person for We though, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.
