OPERATION DESCRIPTION/BRIEFING:

US Forces:

4th Infantry devision, devided into three platoons. Green Camo

Each Platoon will have 2 sapper positions, these are all day positions, and may be transfered if player leave early. There should be 6 sappers at all times on the US team. Sappers are the only players that can capture or destroy objectives.

Wehrmarcht Forces:

352nd Infantry devision, devided into three units. Tan Camo

Team Leader will be Omego. There will be three Axis sniper units that will be autonomous throughout the event.

Pregame note:

Both sides should bring their gear out to the field, including what they will need for the entire day.

Allied Forces can store gear at the initial starting point, and later the beachhead when it is captured.

Axis forces can store gear at their initial respawns, and then move it to their phase2 respawns during lunch time.

Axis will insert at 10:30

Each platoon will have a different respawn point and sector to secure, see phase1 map.

Game start 11AM

Phase 1 (Beach Assualt) 11AM-1PM

Respawn rules:

Allied forces will have a 200 second bleedout and return to the respawn point/command tent in the field. They will be sent back into the game in waves at the orders of the team commander who will be at this location for all of phase 1.

Axis forces will use the Harris Wounded Rule with a 5 minute (300seconds) bleedout, respawn points will be marked on the phase1 map.

Game will start with the Allied assualt on omaha beach. There will be several objectives on the beachhead that need to be marked by Allied sappers, and secondary objectives further inland. Sappers will be shown how to capture the objectives during briefing.

Points are awarded based on the objectives held or not held at the end of the phase.

Field Lunch, resupply 1PM-2PM

There will be no combat during this phase.

Axis forces will retreat inland and set up their defenses for the second phase, then eat lunch.

Allied forces will eat lunch on the beachhead, and be breifed on the second phase.

Both teams will be able to return to the parking lot to resupply at this time.

Phase 2 (Allied forces move into France) 2PM – 4PM.

Respawn Rules:

Both teams will use the Harris wounded rule with a 5 minute (300 seconds) bleedout.

Allied forces attempt to both secure a supply line to the French city of Caen, and to destroy German heavy weapon locations.

Axis forces will attempt to prevent the Allied forces from moving supplies inland, and to defend their gun emplacements.

Both teams will have static respawns, that are not able to be captured.

See phase 2-3 map for details on locations.

Points are awarded based on the objectives held or not held at the end of the phase, and on the volume of supplies moved.

Order of Battle:

Allied Platoon 1 will secure a location with it's sappers in order to set up a forward base for the Allied forces.

Once this location is secured, Platoon 2 will begin the movement of supplies and the securing of the road between the forward base and beach. The Allied commander will only allow one unit of supplies to be moved at a time, Axis forces may not move supplies, but may guard them if they are abandoned. Supplies must stay on the road as marked.

Allied Platoon 3 will be tasked with destroying German weapons.

Axis Unit 1 will be tasked with first defending the base the Allies intend to capture for their FB. Once the Allies capture this base, Axis Unit 1 will be tasked with preventing the Allied forces from moving supplies. Axis forces can retake the base if possible, and Allied forces must use Sappers to reclaim it.

Axis Unit 2 and 3 will be tasked with defending heavy weapon emplacements. Once enough of the emplacements are destroyed, either Unit 2 or 3 will move to assist Unit 1 in attacking the Allied supply line.

Phase 3 (Allied forces move to neutralize Axis forces from the area) 4PM-5PM (End)

Respawn Rules:

Both teams will use the Harris wounded rule with a 5 minute (300 seconds) bleedout.

Allied forces are tasked with the capture of the German field commander, they must first wound this player and then drag the player back to the Beachhead where he will be moved to England. The Axis commander will not go down easy, multiple engagements may be necessary. Allied forces are expected to throw everything they have at him.

Axis forces are tasked with escorting the commander to a safe location where he will be returned back to German Central Command. The extraction point will be marked on the Phase 2-3 map.

Once the player is extracted, by either team, the game will end. If the time expires, niether team receives points.
