  2. MONKEETECH - UPGRADED UMAREX G36C CQB AEG - Embedded Tracer Unit - Rhopped - Upgraded - Modified - Longer Range - Accurate > MonkeeTech is a personal Airsoft tech, upgrade & repairs venture of mine and should not be considered a commercially trading shop or dealership. Any items sold on this website are from my very own personal private collection, modified, second hand and surplus to requirements. Nothing sold is brand new, nor is it shop stock in any way, shape or form – they are projects I’ve bought, tinkered with, had some fun and then wish to sell-on, probably to buy other stuff ! > Looks like a regular G36C, but packs a BIG punch with some nifty upgrades & internal mods – it’s been turned into a highly accurate, longer ranged CQB AEG ! > Close Quarter Battle Automatic Electric Gun > Tech’d personally by Andy at MonkeeTech. View the MonkeeTech Facebook Group and read the reviews of MT upgrades and work for clients :-) > Hundreds of £££’s worth of the usual typical MonkeeTech CQB AEG mods undertaken within this superb deal all-in-one bundle > Genuine original quality Umarex construction, very strong, solid, sturdy build > Officially licensed Heckler & Koch logo markings on the side ! > Sold in fully operational, tested & working condition. No known faults > Very smooth sounding, fully shimmed & re-greased gearbox > Full-automatic & semi-automatic modes, averaging 350 fps – spot on for most UK Airsoft sites (most are 360fps max) > Totally interchangeable main spring modification done ! Change your main spring in about a minute instead of having to strip the whole thing down each time – perfect for varying FPS levels at different Airsoft sites > 350fps level main spring included, you can easily buy a range of other main springs cheaply off Ebay to play around with FPS power, suited to each Airsoft site you visit. You will need a large flat-headed screwdriver to take out the main spring guide. Also comes with another spare main spring > Rhopped by Andy at MonkeeTech – immensely long range & highly accurate. For more information on these superb Rhop jobs, don't take my word for it – view the feedback I get from people on the MonkeeTech Facebook Group regarding Rhop projects done in the past. A lot of people say Rhop actually doubled their range and accuracy. Yes, they are that good 😉 > For best results, use heavier BBs. Between .3g is ideal. These are more expensive but you’ll be using fewer of them because it’s longer ranged & accurate > Should *probably* outperform most other AEGs, hopefully ! > Integrated sorbo rubber pads within the cylinder head & radiused gearbox act as fantastic shock-absorption for stronger level high-impact piston usage, this protects your gearbox from cracking, this also corrects your angle of engagement > Extra large, meaty Turnigy Nano-Tech 2650mah 11.1v 3S 25-50C 2.65 Lipo battery – ideally suited to pulling stronger springs, comes with this kit. Should last a whole weekend of constant shooting. Deans connection > Extra large sized hand guard for bigger bulkier batteries > Re-wired to integrate the amazing Gate Nano AAB Mosfet, which will help maintain a steady, consistent and regulated semi-automatic action for your AEG when needed. Also saves wear / carbon build-up on your trigger contacts as well > Integrated UV LED tracer hop unit for night games – simple wire connectors within the handguard to activate it on/off. The hutu runs off the main battery. Connect that on and you'll light up a bank of 4 x high powered UV LEDs all embedded within the hop unit. Now fill your mag with Tracer glow in the dark BBs (I recommend .3g Nuprol tracer BBs) and watch as they light up in the darkness !!! It uses so little energy for the LEDs and comes with such a powerful capacity battery, you can easily leave the tracer unit switched on all weekend. But do remember to disconnect it after the gaming, as it will eventually drain the battery and the LEDs will eventually burn out. The LEDs will last for hundreds of thousands of hours if properly disconnected between game usage. Remember to do that and you’ll be fine. Tracers are immense fun ! > Very useful red & green dot holo scope sight mounted on top of an extra RIS 20mm rail > Handguard comes with bright white light LED flashlight, remotely controlled on one side and a really cool Predator style 3 red dot laser targeting system on the other side. Each red dot laser is adjustable with hex keys. Not only that, but within that unit between the red dot lasers are actually also blue LEDs as well, for dark or dim situations, very interesting results ! > Sector delayer chip on sector gear for much more efficient BB loading, making it highly unlikely to not load the next BB in the heat of battle > Superb spring-loaded RIS mounted bipod front grip. Press the activation button and 2 lower arms spring out to give you an instant bipod. Lock the arms back into the tube to return it back to being a simple front grip. Genius > Black nylon fully adjustable basic sling > 1 x Midcap magazine and 1 x Hicap winding magazine included - along with speed loader for the Midcap > PayPal accepted, but ONLY as “Friends & Family” option selected. Otherwise, it’s cash on collection, cheque, bank transfer, postal orders all welcome. All funds to clear before sending item > UKARA registered people only – please provide your UKARA number and once checked, cleared & full payment received – this CQB AEG will be yours ! I will not spray this 2 tone. This is not for wannabe gangstas, serious Airsofters only > Looking for £350 – open to considering sensible offers, but silly offers will be ignored. No part exchanges, sorry > 30 Day warranty guarantee on internal parts for fixing if it goes wrong. When you get it, test it rigorously and play with it every weekend if you can, along with back garden plinking where possible. If it fails during that 30 day period, MonkeeTech will repair the internals for free. Please note this is for internal parts and fittings only and excludes all postage costs. It also excludes obvious deliberate malicious damage or damage done by skirmishing and outer main body parts snapping whilst hitting trees or leaping over bunkers etc. You also not covered for losing any parts or kit > I've uploaded a few bigger images (these may take a while to load as they’re quite big) so you can zoom into each item to see all the relevant aspects. Clicky linky (Best viewed on a laptop / PC - click to zoom in on your browser) : www.chameleon-graphics.co.uk/Airsoft > Feel free to message me separately if you're looking for an Rhop or ERhop job or any other types of modifications or upgrades on your current AEG or DMR > Please join the MonkeeTech Facebook Group for any tech questions, upgrades or Rhop enquiries, cheers ! > Happy to answer any questions or queries… Email : a_chaplin@hotmail.com or text 07788 142 920

Thanks! I've never seen such problem develop in our 74Us, but our custom-build "WE" RPK has some wobble on the barrel. Will try this fix asap

Like the man says, it might not be that serious. Stay positive, and keep on top of the doctors.

Unfortunately the radiologist found a few cysts in both kidneys and ten in my liver. However, he did say that doesn't mean I do have PKD and that I'll need to work with my GP and potentially specialists to work out what they are. He also said a bunch of people who lead healthy normal lives show cysts so not to panic yet. Still can't help but be a little nervous though. Fear of the unknown is a powerful thing. I'm not gonna go down without a fight though, medical science is making massive leaps.

Have to take my rear sight block off among other things, but it looks like this only with the forward hole/screw done (in M4 size). There's a lot of material on the trunnion so doubt the hole makes any difference.

oh f*ck, Tw1tch. Hope it'll go well and there's no need to worry!

Any pics? Wouldn't that weaken the trunnion?

I'm currently preparing for an ultrasound on no kidneys to see if I've any evidence of polycystic kidney disease. My late grandfather had it, my dad and uncle his side both have it. I thought the blood screen was searching for the gene but apparently they were just looking for signs of abnormal kidney function.

Have to say, vaguely related to the topic, I've realised that the losses of both The Mall and The Barracks during 2018 has severely blunted my enthusiasm to go out any do any 'softing at all. That and the rise of the seemingly increasingly delusional-acting cult of 'hardcore' milsim. I've far from an encyclopedic knowledge of sites, but right now I think Longmoor is about the only place I'd really have any interest in going. I don't mind x-site (which is of course just the outpost now) and when they use a good portion of the site instead of corralling people too much it's decent enough. Don't think I'd bother with it more than once a year though if I was also playing at other, larger sites. Another large aspect is I recently realised it's a lot easier than I'd have imagined to turn up to UK NRA matches as a 'rental' as it were and spend a day shooting real stuff. The community around that is generally speaking older, more mature and less prone to flights of fantasy and/or childish tantrums caused by absolutely nothing, from what I can see so far anyway. No group of humans is perfect of course.
  25. A big YES to both of the Coonan .357..and I still want a Grizzly..and a Wellrod (the new released modern version in 9mm).
  26. It appears I'm back into 1911's again and now looking for a M45A1. The three options that I have to consider are the Cybergun/KWC (I currently own 2 Colt Rail Guns and the Parkerized 1911A1) and have had no issues. My "Two Tone Rail Gun and 1911A1 have been used a lot while my "Stainless" Rail Gun has only been around for a month). The next is the WE M45A1. I dont own any of the WE 1911's but I've heard the newest models are quite good (I have several of their Walther P38's and a ISSC M22 and they have worked well for me). None of WE M45A1's are available with any trades in the USA, but that is not a deal breaker for me. The last is the Tokyo Marui M45A1. I have their MEU, 1911A1, Detonics, Strike Warrior and Desert Warrior and again, they all have performed well for me. However, I like a little more power (green gas or CO2), but I have concerns of longevity of use with green gas/propane in TM pistols. These are tough to get over here, but can be done. Price differences are not too much of a issue. However, I want this pistol to hold up to significant use. I know TM has great parts availabilty (except for the lack of M45A1 aftermarket slides, frames and all exterior frame parts in the correct color) but I'm not looking to have to make any early expensive up-grades to whatever pistol I end up with just to keep it working. I plan on shooting this thing a lot! Your sugguestions will be very helpful. Thank you.
