TM- Desert Eagle .50AE Hard Kick (Chrome)

This one was pretty easy actually. Came to me with a nozzle locked open, so the slide couldn't be closed all the way. Tore the slide down and lo and behold a piece of the rear frame was lodged in the wrong place. It turns out that a few months ago the gun was dropped on that side (the right side safety was a bit mashed up). I guess that broke the rear frame, but the piece didn't get in the way until a few months later. Crazy.

I put it back together without the broken piece (duh) and removed the safety lever (internal). Now the safety toggles move and hold steady, but they do not put the gun on safe. So sans safety the gun shoots like the cannon it is. Good to go, but I don't know if it will hold up forever. In truth I can't see a reason it would break any further, bar getting dropped again.
