  2. Click the "LoFi" button at the bottom of the thread you want to download.
  3. Have a look at the news page, then look on the left side at the bottom on the menus. Been there for quite some time you know.
  4. No sorry, we're not having a section specifically to spam, it serves no purpose at all.
  5. According to what I've seen elsewhere the searching algorithm Invision uses is MySQL's fulltext searching capabilities, which has a default minimum search limit of 4 characters. The only way to change this value is to edit the MySQL configuration file, restart the MySQL server, and to rebuild the fulltext index. (http://forums.oscommerce.com/lofiversion/index.php/t114641.html) I don't think that this is a feasable solution really as I don't want to have to rebuild tables and config files, if you want to search for a shorter term use google to search the forum, that's much easier. It's
  6. My fault, used "&" rather than "&" in html coding. Fixed now
  7. I have a feeling it coincides with the 1st of the month and the news archival at that point. When it happens again (most likely on the 1st) I'll see if I can spot the error that causes it, it'll be a simple one no doubt.
  8. Seems to be working okay now, it working for you guys?

  12. http://www.cappuccinopc.com/espressopc.asp That's about the smallest commercailly available full fledged PC you can get (ignoring things like the pocketpc/Ipaq)
  13. I think Gremlins would be a better description at the moment. Touching the virtual wood pile though, all seems to have been okay for the past 24hours.
  14. Not a clue, although I'm tempted to visit the place when I'm over there just to nag.
  15. The short story is that the hosting company were running on cisco systems (or a derivative) and decided to upgrade to Foundry. All their tests went well before the upgrade on their test segment, but when they implemented the upgrade across the board it went wonky. All went well for a brief period, then for reason as yet unknown they suffered a huge meltdown in services. Routers started crashing, systems rebooted mysteriously, interfaces reset, as a result packets were getting lost everywhere and it all went pairshaped pretty darned quick. I really can't explain it all as customers we
  16. Seems that all of us in the UK, or anyone that routes through Level3.net experienced 2 hours of downtime. Me not happy about it.. but can only complain to hosting company so much.
  17. Please post your comments about the YE MP5 review here. Thanks guys

  20. Router failed at hosting company at least 20 minutes of inaccessability was experienced.
  21. I'm going to add one, although the code available at this time for such a system to IPB2 is highly buggy at best. The second something of use is around I'll work on incorporating it. I would write it all myself, but I don't have the time at the moment. It's easier to wait for a suitable mod to appear.
  22. Okay, Marcus's old server is back, DNS records have been altered to route to the correct IP. In the meantime, you can connect your clients to to get in (should irc.arniesairsoft.co.uk still resolve to the older IP for you)
  23. Yeah, he's got a horrible carpet
