Hi all, just over a week ago i finally got round to restoring My scar L suppressor, i took the camo paint off the suppressor tube but left it on the QD fitting, i think it looks awesome like this and really suits the rifle.. The top section on the picture was how it looked before and bottom is how it looks now. Here are some progress pictures.. I used Dail paint remover to remove the camo paint then i used some RS silicone Oil to bring back the nice black finish on the suppressor tube.. Haha to be honest though if I saw that video before seeing other people's views and experience with the G5 the many issues and small issues you show would have put me off buying one and stopped me wanting one.. Also on the upgrade CNC aluminum bolt carrier, as its much lighter, how much does it lower the strength of the recoil? Hi All.. After an hour upstairs having a little shoot with the limcat custom and giving it a little tweak i have now got it firing perfectly how i would like it. I spent 30 minutes just shooting the gun how i left it last time, just to get the feel of the gun again and to give the hop-up rubber a bit more use, then i adjusted the hop from 80% (how i had it last time) to 95%, sighted in the gun/POI much better, then got on with some proper target tests, showing you my final results, My 0.30g kingdom airsoft BB's come today too which i was happy about as i knew i would get very slightly bette

HI jv83, thank you very much, this was my first TM based total custom build, I'm very happy with how it turned out. The shooting distance was only 6 yards, but once I have done a few more tests, hop up adjustments maybe even try a different hop up rubber or two, and my preferred BB's when they arrive, I will take it to gun club and shoot it at longer ranges. Yeah I will definitely go for steel internals and hammer at a later date, but I want to wear out the stock internals first, I'm very interested to see how long the standard internals last.. Hi All. Well yesterday i got to do a bit of shooting at home, so i tested the limcat custom and sighted it in etc.. Now most of you know me for being honest so this will not change on this gun either. while i am happy with the results, i was also a little disappointed but i was expecting it to be this way anyway.
