  1. LOL what kind of attitude is that? Anything can be done. I personally have a VFC SCAR too and am interested in installed a fire control computer too. I have thought of a couple options. You could make a third connector on the hinge like the 2 that are already there for one method and keep it in the stock where fuse holder is. Obviously you could just drill a small hole and run a wire too but then you will have the visible wire when you fold the stock. But quite honestly how often is the stock folded. Generally only for storage so then who really cares other then
  2. The charger has been taken apart by Madmax of ASC. He can confirm the charger is pretty basic. It has not peak detection or any fancy charging circuitry. Just has a timer curcuit that charges for x time then shuts off.
  3. I put a real steel butt plate on. its heavy and the spring is much more firm in the shoulder rest so it doesn't pop out in the bush as easy. Down side is the real one the clean kit hole is too small for a battery. For me this is ok. I have a custom battery in my wood stock and I always had to take the 2 screws out and remove the butt plate anyhow to change batteries. And I have a huge battery that last months anyhow.
  4. To test fire a PTW you just hold the bolt release while you pull the trigger. Its not a pain in the *albatross*.
  5. But if you get the gaurder flashider like that it is -14mm because its meant for the aftermarket gaurder barrel for the m249 which is -14mm
  6. No Problem at all man Take it easy.
  7. I hate when people tell other people what they should do with "Their" guns. But in this case you are correct. I actually have the brown one now but that is an old picture. I was too lazy to take new one thx.
  8. This is a Story about two M14's. While both guns started off almost identical they both took different paths in there lifes. One M14 was a retro and his hero's were in the vietnam war. He aspired to become like his Father. An Earlier m21. The other was more modern and decided he wanted to become a bit more tactical. So he decided to shed his Heatshield grab a RAS and a paintjob. Ok this story thing is lame. Here is a rundown on the specs Top m14 (XM-21) Real wood stock Systema silent piston head Prometheus Hardpiston Prometheus Tightbore barr
  9. Do you play outdoors and want an accurate shooting gun? Then yes its a good choice!!
  10. Yeah normal plastic bushings just like every TM gun
  11. If your going just past the forum limits the stock gears are fine. Even the piston is supposedly fine. but I put an upgraded piston in mine to be safe. :-)
  12. I have both the OD and wood versions. Stock is essentially the same with the exception of the OD one having a checkered grip and missing the fake bolts on each side of the stock. Other then that both plastic stocks seem about the same to me.
  13. thats the thing why bother getting a fibreglass stock that will look the exact same as the OD TM one. Just paint the OD TM one and its the same look with better fit.
  14. Just got mine the other day. First use was yeterday. 4000 rounds thru a few hours. Gun ran like a clock. No misfires or anything. Was impressed.
  15. I posted it in the other TM m14 thread but what the heck here it is again.
