  1. Right, here seems the best place to ask this... I'm looking into getting a CIRAS (though they're getting more common, they seem the best way to carry the loads of stuff I want them to, and remain comfortable ) I've already decided against the Milspex (bad quality) and the Phantom (can't get the colour I want in the size I need...), leaving, well, the Eagle ones Which, are *rather* expensive ($480 isn't my idea of "affordable" when it comes to airsoft kit ), then I stumbled across This on SKD Tactical, it's supposedly a non-releasable CIRAS... (which I fail to see how it can be
  2. I'm quite sure you can't, as the back of the selector switch meshes with the selector plate on the gearbox, which is the same side as the selector switch Sorry mate
  3. Thanks for confirming that - looks like a more green hue than the picture on RW shows it to be, which can only be a good thing I'll be using it in UK woodland, so, in theory the OD would probably be better, but the colour looks *nasty*, besides, it'll be loaded with hicaps and I'll be carrying a dutty great gun so I'll be making a target of myself anyways Oh, and I won't be using it with MC either, I'll be using it with ACU dyed OD, mainly as it looks different to other camo [/thread hijack]
  4. @ PingPong Is that the Phantom CIRAS in Khaki? I've been trying to find several pics of it to see what it actually looks like (I'm looking into getting a Phantom CIRAS, but the colour of the OD one looks odd to say the least... particularly the lime-green-esque MOLLE strips )
  5. w00t! Let us know if you get it OK! (thanks for the + reps as well )
  6. *cough* I also want one and don't have the money ATM, but at least I'm nice enough to share where I found it
  7. With all due respect, most people will know what a G36K looks like, so, for me at least, seeing accessories on or off a gun makes no difference Besides, 6ft4's "accessories", namely the G36K foregrip, are *very* specific to the G36, so, IMO, they're relevant *gets off soapbox* @ 6ft4 I have to ask, what flashlight(s) are you using? It looks similar to the G&P Scorpion Taclight/Laser combos they do, but with two taclights instead
  8. Uh, yeah, I guess I will Can't say I thought of that You want it then?
  9. Lots of work then, it would seem I've ditched my plans to get a cheapo M4 and use it as a project gun Courtesy of Skippy I have a solid-stocked M15 CQB inbound Whip off the solid stock, put it on my M16 for more solidness than I get from my G&P stock, get a HK416 stock, slap that on the CQBR, sort out both hop units = 2 guns that rock!
  10. Without making it sound like I'm kissing Titleist's *albartroth* ( ), I always look forward to seeing his posts, the pictures are inevitably top notch, and they're always of *really* nice kit (albeit normally expensive kit but I guess that's half the awesomeness )
  11. Post them in here Please! In other news, I've got some money to spend from my Xmas bonus (after paying off debts ), Dang, an SR25 is *so* tempting
  12. Chances are I'd be boring and go with a black one, so in that respect, colour isn't likely to be much of a problem I don't think... Alternatively, as it'll be for CQB, I may get Tan furniture for it as I guess it'll look pretty spiffy with some Dessie DPM )
  13. Definitely not a CA, that's for sure (I'll be replacing everything so I'm sure as hell not starting with the most expensive gun I can find :-P), most likely a TM as the internals will be fine till I get round to upgrading them
  14. So, based on what was said up there *points*, am I right in assuming that a 10.5 inch outer barrel will result in a CQBR length front-end? Only reason I ask is that I'll shortly be acquiring an M4A1 of some description with the intention of it being a project gun, and I noticed that the KA CASV Handguard sets are available with a 10.5 inch outer barrel (and the CASV sets cost as much as the G&P CQBR front assembly, and look somewhat different, which is a bonus ) ++EDIT++ Just noticed PROUD makes CASV kits as well, are either the PROUD or KA significantly better than th
  15. Well, This I consider to be a good source of RS information In general, different stock, foregrip and flashhider to the AK47
  16. No offence, but I'd hardly trust a Video Game Website as a reliable source of real steel gun information (especially when the G36K is inaccurate, the K has a 4-hole foregrip )
  17. Nice pics dude Only suggestion I'd make is to cut out the bumph in the photos (i.e. the bits we don't need to see) as the pics are quite large, as anyone on a 56K would be well and truly scuppered (damn near crapped out my Mozilla ) Aside from that, nice to see the similarities of the airsoft and RS
  18. If you hate them that much, don't buy it then. Simple really
  19. Dang dude, what's with all the shotgun shells? Worst thing, I don't even see a shotgun?!?11?
  20. Nice pics Oh, and chances are, if you ask for reps, you won't get any
  21. Well, I've got the reticule straight (as in when I look through the eye relief), but the knob that I turn to illuminate the scope doesn't line up with the rail and the top adjustment knob ) Must just be where I whacked it when I got it out of the box... Methinks I should look after my stuff a bit more...
  22. Seems to be a trend occuring here, I recently acquired the very same scope Random question for you and Shao, on the eye relief end of your scope, is that section of the scope slightly jaunted, mine is and I'm not sure if it's where I knocked it Oh, and hope you don't mind me asking but how much d'ya pay for yours?
  23. No offence intended mind That would be where they filmed part of the film Tears of the Sun (what with those blokes being the cast of said film )
  24. It seems the vultures are circling already
  25. I may be wrong, but I think it's these ones
