  1. Nah, don't worry about it mate, tis a lot of pages to read through just to catch up
  2. If you read the whole of this thread, back there somewhere a bloke posted pics of his airsoft G36 alongside his RS G36, which had an AR15 magwell In short, tis old news IMO
  3. Exactly what I wanted to hear! Admittedly the effect on battery life isn't likely to affect me, I'll be using a 10.8v 3300 mAh on a semi-only gun, I'm unlikely to fire more than a couple hundred shots a day at most I would expect, so even if the motor halves the number of shots I get from a battery, I'll still be OK ++EDIT++ An afterthought, after looking through various other threads, I've come across the fact that, much to my dislike, the G&P SR25 can fire full auto as a result of a notch in the selector switch My question is, can I get round this by replacing
  4. Some *very* nice rifles guys I'm back to debating whether to get an SR25 kit for my M16 (and have it using normal Armalite mags) or... Just getting the G&P SR25 as a whole, then replacing the internals... I'd want to replace nearly everything in the gearbox, bar the nozzle, which (apparently ) the SR25 has a longer one so I can't change it out, oh, and a new hop unit because the hop unit on my G&P M16 is garbage, a TM hop methinks I blame it on DBT and spotting SR25 mag pouches ++EDIT++ @ thePiRaTE How do you find the Systema Magnum Motor? I'm looking for a
  5. I don't know if I'm missing something fundamental but why is one of your kneepads down by your ankle? Is it intentional?
  6. Whoa dude, turn off the caps lock
  7. I thought the exact same thing, didn't say anything in case it was my eyes that were wonky
  8. Aah, I see, that'll be the Real ARMS #38 Rail Sleeve that he's selling (it attaches to the RIS rail on the receiver and the RIS rail on the foregrip Where you'd get one, I don't know
  9. Aah, I see Thanks for clarifying
  10. AFAIK (if someone knows I'm wrong, don't hesitate to speak up)... All M4's have the same length foregrip, irrespective of barrel length (e.g. M4A1's and CQBR's have the same length foregrip)... Similarly, all M16's have the same length foregrip So, on that front, it should be the same size, OTOH, there may be some slight fitting issues (as there can be with any aftermarket parts), in general it's best to assume some minor filing may be required to get a snug fit
  11. TM have released a 2006 version of the M4A1, this has basicaly brought it in line with all the newer Armalite variants, i.e. 1 piece hop unit etc w00t! And I intend to post piccies, matter of fact I'm looking at digicams at the moment so I can post pics of my respectable collection I take it you mean the M15A4 Rifle, i.e. the CA version of the M16? I'm not normally a fan of RIS on M16's, but I'll help out Looking for M16 accessories will probably be the best start, seeing as not many retailers (AFAIK) add descriptions to their products that relate to CA's number
  12. Ah, I didn't realise there was a difference (I've handled MP5's but never G3's) What kind of mods are required to fit the G3 cocking tube to the SD front end then?
  13. I did, that's what rejuvenated my interest in the SR25 Ah, I see... Thanks for that. Nevertheless, I'd lose the capacity to mag share with other people on the same team as myself Well, on the FPS front, some sites allow >328 for permanently semi-only Sniper Rifles, and an SR-25 is about the only "Sniper Rifle" I could want, so it makes sense to take advantage In hindsight, I'm probably better off going for something like This Receiver Kit and This Front Assembly, that way I can ensure the internals are easily replaceable, as well as retaining mag compatability
  14. I guess you guys will be the best peeps to ask this, I'm looking into getting an SR25, This One to Be Precise. Anyhow, I've read something (somewhere) that mentioned SR25's have different dimensions to regular Armalites? How does this effect the gearbox, i.e. can I use a regular M16 aftermarket gearbox & regular aftermarket gearbox internals, or does the SR25 have specific internals much like the PSG-1? On a similar note, does it use the same kind of Hop unit as a regular M16? (main reason I ask is that my G&P M16 has an *awful* hop unit, shortly to be replaced...) Any i
  15. That's what I thought may be the only issue, Dremel to the rescue methinks! (I couldn't think of any reason why CA would make the M41 any different to a MC51 w/ RIS unit as it eliminates any kind of already available aftermarket parts...) I was also thinking that'd be a good starting point for the front end, on the basis that getting a whole metal body from somewhere could be difficult, so starting with the M41, and getting the CA SD front end, I get the best of both worlds, add in one $15 TM G3 hop unit, and I've got one awesome gun Saying that, I do plan to get a First Factory Si
  16. I've had a poke around and I can't find the answer anywhere else, so I figure I'll ask here I'm looking into getting me a G3 SBS, obvious place to start seems to be the MC51 (according to a mate...), then get a SD front end, said mate will do the mods to make 'em fit together Anyhow, what I was wondering was, are there any differences between the TM MC51 and the CA Sar Offizier M41 that would stop me using the CA M41 for this? Any insight much appreciated Cheers
  17. Well, semi-left-handed berettas aren't too hard, the mag release and the safety switch is reversable (I've done it on my M190, as I use it with my left hand) And operating the slide release with your thumb isn't too hard either
  18. Ta Though that wasn't the answer I wanted
  19. @ Jonny Is that a CA or TM G36 you've got there?
  20. Ooh, a STANAG magwell, Nice! Would like to know what it's like hint hint wink wink nudge nudge
  21. I really like the top rail on that-there gun, d'ya mind sharing where I might possibly acquire one from? (the bit at the front acts as a sling loop, right??) Cheers
  22. Wow! That Uzi is teh sechs! *drools* I just might have to get one of those
  23. Very Nice Good Sir All it needs now is some Hogue Grips
  24. It it a shame when you have to use a different kind of gun etc just to keep up with the competition Oh, and I second newbkiller, we want to see some pics
