Yeah, the search system annoys me too: I mean, almost all manufacturers are two to three letters: TM, WA, ICS, CA, WE, KWA, KSC, A&K, G&P, G&G etc. And many guns are two to three letters: M16, M4, M9, AUG, G36, G3, P90 etc. CC

Only a vague relevance, but I wanted to put it in writing somewhere to share the knowledge - WE 1911 slides work on WE Hi-Capa 5.1 frames. WE Hi-Capa 5.1 slides do NOT work on WE 1911 frames. WE Hi-Capa 5.1 barrels + recoil rods work in WE 1911 frames. WE 1911 barrels + spring guides etc. do NOT work in WE Hi-Capa 5.1 frames. WE Hi-Capa 5.1 slide internals will NOT fit in WE 1911 slides. WE 1911 slide internals will NOT fit in WE Hi-Capa 5.1 slides. CC

Yo - thought you guys might be able to help me. Just got myself a STAR M14 SOPMOD, and it's stripped two spur gears now - one stock, and one TM. I've replaced the spring with a 1J and reshimmed it - so what now? I've got myself an ICS spur gear and some new metal bushings (that's what Zero One recommended to me) - so will that help? Any other ideas? CC

Hey guys, I was looking for some information. What's the difference between an M14 EBR and an M14 SOPMOD? What is the official classification? Maybe any other info you have too, thanks. Secondly - STAR M14 SOPMOD: does anyone have any user experiences and problems with it? (aside from weight + lack of semi-auto). Thanks, CC
