  1. The magazine I received with my WOC was gray and had bolt lock functionality. The G&P is frighteningly accurate and more importantly consistent out of the box. It's light years ahead of the WE; I'm glad I got rid of it! As for the Boom Arms / Boomer / Bomber magazines, I'm not so impressed at the moment; two of the three I currently have leak straight out the gas exit port when filling / filled. Still waiting on Boom Arms getting back to me on a fix.
  2. The two magazines I know of are the standard gray ones and the black 'S' magazines. The only functional difference I'm aware of is they 'S' type don't lock the bolt back when empty. I hear you on the NPAS ThaFlash; I've not actually encountered that problem yet a few thousand rounds in, but I've got an NPAS bolt sitting here just in case...
  3. I keep hearing that, but mine has none at all.
  4. I don't see why you'd need NPAS to skirmish... Functions fine out the box. Certainly has less problems than the WE out the box, that's for sure.
  5. Well, they work, they put out the same power as the WA magazines, they have the roller presumably to reduce wear... Not a lot more to say really, I think I covered it mostly in the other forum. I've still not found a way to strip the WA magazines down yet, but when I do I'll compare the internals.
  6. Just to confirm, received the Boom Arms magazines yesterday and they are made of winsauce.
  7. Boomer WA M4 mags on the way... Will let you know how they turn out!
  8. Just to actually clear things up, owning both rifles myself, the G&P has greater felt recoil and slightly higher rate of fire. Plus, the G&P recoil is crisp and loud whereas the WE is sort of sluggish and hissy, and the G&P has higher and more consistent muzzle velocity and better groupings... Wouldn't swap my G&P M4 WOC for a WE M4 any day.
  9. I prefer to run on propane as opposed to 'Airsoft brand' green gas due to the WE pouring lubricant out of ever port and seam when used with the latter. Straight propane gives me the same power on a chrono as the three other brands of green gas I've tested, the same wear on parts but less lubricant screwing up my hop and spraying on my face, and is a lot cheaper. EDIT: Madbull make a very good, very cheap, very robust metal propane adapter as well.
  10. It's not available yet. When it is, I'll comment on it, but I can only work with what's in my hands. Chairsofter? No offence chap, but as an ex-serviceman myself, I'm commenting on the 'lack of realism' in the WE with my eyes wide open. Never used an M4 / M16, but I have used a C7 which is essentially the same, and the WE M4 is less realistic in comparison to the G&P purely because of the way the bolt functions. That may or may not be important to any given individual, but it's a plus point for me, hence my comments on it. The brass annoys me as when the bolt lock
  11. I have both; a WE M4 AFC and a G&P M4 WOC. Put it this way, the WE isn't getting used much after getting the G&P, it's basically now my loan rifle / backup. Both are good fun. Both are well built. The WE is cheaper. The G&P has a marginally better kick and rate of fire on propane. The WE has nice cheap mags and spares. The G&P has a slightly more realistic operation with a fully moving bolt and no hideous brass showing. The WE has nice cheap spares. The G&P feels and looks a lot better in the flesh. The WE has better gas efficiency. The G&P is more consis
  12. I'd rather not ship a few hundred dollars worth of stuff to someone I've never met on the premise they'll then forward it on to me, athankyouverymuch.
  13. Cheers. BravoCompanyUSA state they wont ship outside of the US, but list other countries on their shipping page... Can anyone confirm or deny based on a recent order?
  14. Good link BigAl; just ordered some kit from them. Don't suppose you know where to get real AR15 pistol grips as opposed to crappy AEG heatsink-bottomed ones?
  15. I think you're missing the point somewhat... It's inherently unsafe to insert a magazine then cycle the bolt with the trigger safety disengaged. I shouldn't have to engage my safety after making ready; it should be engaged throughout the entire process. But hey, them's the dice.
