My delivery of 144a will be here tomorrow (can't get 134a anymore) so I will be using that exclusively in it from then onwards. -
I couldn't get anymore gas into the tank. It would let me fill it for approx 3-4 secs maximum and then it just peed out the sided of the full valve. Maybe it'll be better with 144a than green gas though.

Mine arrived today. Added the angry gun shell caddy and the G&P mag tube extension for looks. Really like it but with green gas I was lucky to get three shells out of it. I have some 144a on the way but I couldn't wait to play with the new toy. Love the 6 BB's feature but will probably use it in 3 shot mode most of the time to extend the ammo. Now; just need the extra extra shells to arrive now.

The mag tube is only cosmetic. It's not the stock tube gas tank. Based on what I'd read in this thread I thought it best to avoid propane though in case the tank swells hence why I asked if people had experience with 144a from abbey.

What has is best for these in the UK. I was thinking of using predator 144a rather than propane?

Or a whole series of them. I've ordered the gun obviously, some TM shells after reading this thread seemed like the best course of action; the G&P magazine extension tube and the angry gun shell holder. Hoping to use it on a new range being built where I play and do some three gun comps.

Yes it does sadly as I have a lovely VLTOR upper begging to go on it but it won't fit. The front receiver lug is bigger on the KWA than on standard AEG receivers. As for the M4A1. I'll buy one probably. I've thought about buying the scout version and sticking a rail on it and storing the battery in there. Good luck with the ACS stock; those side pods are a) very narrow and not open to the stock tube section. You could dremel some holes but you will still be hard pressed to fit a battery in it.

just a little more info rather than "it's fixed!!" Well, I've used it now and the bolt cut off switch can sometime stick but its a simple fix. Whilst I was tinkering I took it ll apart anyway and its quite a nice piece to work on with a good solid gearbox shell and good quality gears. As the spring comes out with the buffer tube - removed as per a real AR, there is no tension really when you split the box. It is diferent enough to need a little bit of extra care from a version two but not so much that you would be able to do it. Really didn't tale long to work on the innards and to reb

All fixed!! Working like a boss! happy Phil. Turns out it was the cut off lever after all but needed a bit of TLC to make it happy again.

I can't see anything that would hint at an obvious fault. All the levers etc are moving freely so it'll be a full strip lube and rebuild I think. Fingers crossed that'll do it.

It's fine. I don't mind tinkering. I like to know how they work so it's just hastened me taking it to pieces but it would've happened sooner or later anyway. BTW the spring is quite a bit shorter than a normal AEG spring.

Cheers Boomer. Will try that and report back Didn't work . Taken the buffer tube off and it looks like the piston is all the way to the rear of the gear box. Time to break out the tools

Went to use it today. It chronoed at 316fps which is fine and dandy BUT and it's a big BUT! after two mags it just stopped. Totally. Nada. I haven't opened it up yet as I was wondering if anyone else had experienced similar. Up until that hiccup, they were the best 2 1/2 mags I've ever fired out of an AEG though.

Cerakote here we come then. Paint finish doesn't bother me as I like the bashed up look. So pistol grips are standard AEG?

I know there is already a review on this gun here already but i didn't want to just hijack someone elses thread. I hope that that is alright otherwise could the mods please merge the two together if that is appropriate. Okay this is the newish KWA RM4 ERG - not the catchiest of names i grant you but still, there we go. Still not available in the UK through UK retailers but it has been around for a while in the Far East and the US for a while now. Given that though, there is very little in the way of reviews out there for it say in comparison to its competiton the TM recoil series. This
