I am honestly suprised at that. I took about .. a couple of hours?.. tops? and that was because it was not my M1911A1 and guarder frame. It is binding, but that was mostly sorted by the end of it. It looks UBER hawt with the Carom wood-grips on there too. Far nicer than the Herrets grips. The weight at 560gm or so is lighter than the TM one (680ish), but the balance is better for it though.

I, too, am grumpy about the lack of 3 character search string allowability. Considering that there are a REAM of items out there with 3 letter codes.. KSC KWA KJW HFC to name just a few. I am trying to find the problem and solve for the KJW SIG P226 (ahh those itsy bitsy search strings) yet.. it does not like them. Is that a selectable feature?

good grief!.. i see what you mean. Any thoughts as to why? I was afraid it would be side-ways crooked rather than vertical crooked..

can you show pics of how crooked it is on the other RIS mounts you tried? Any chance of a shot 'through' the S-point?

I cannot remember if I answered it in forums or PM. The slides were not 100%.. and now I cannot remember which one fitted and which one did not. The frames are slightly different, as they are different size magazines as well.

well, based on the Tanaka SIG229, which really is for collectors and infrequent uses on HFC134a.. I don't think I would get a gbb from Tanaka. A NBB is a whole other ball park. Hvygear.. I suspect that it is just that KJW may have slightly higher 'lemon' percentages in some lines. Their USP I would not go for, but I would get their SIG or their M9s (newer models)

Sledge.. I sincerely doubt that I will be able to get my hands on the KSC, KJW Tanaka and TM SIG 226s. (the hfc I have right discounted.. I didn't like it one itty bitty bit.. ) I still have not heard of anyone here getting a KSC 1911 for me to add that one. Oh well.

$420US for something with the hopup sucking, dodgy 'appearing' tappet and piston. And a non-reinforced gearbox? I don't think that this looks like a good start at all. Power? start with the cylinder. Get more straight away. Lipo? nice.

perhaps have the wrap around the muzzle end of the barrel, a bit less umm 'tight' on it... Giving it less a 'barrel shape'. Otherwise.. a lot of nice work/effort.

MSSA Advantage 1000? I cannot remember. He has yet to do a clearer shot than that.. (like daylight) though.. >_<

I didn't know this, but was taken of me, overlooking a wee lake down here, mid-game. I kinda feel embaressed about it.. because I am not wearing face cam.. for a change.. >_< the pink in my face sticks out badly.. sigh

yep indeed.. it was (partly) borked. A nice new shiny (well, black) battery... over 800rds. Soo. I guess Borked is the word.
