grim, it looks kinda cool. definitivly if you went for a pmc setup. (I think it is in shadow company they show aks with shortened barrels) The downside is that the gun loses much of its ak feeling, that is at least what I think, but I guess you could always buy yourself an extra barrel. p.s I think you should buy your gf a ptw instead

Im glad you liked it. I think it turned out pretty well to. I got it from a guy at ar15.com. so I cant help you were to get them. I will post more and better pictures as soon as I get my inokatsu bolt

One of the first akm released. stripped of its paint and blued. Stock removed and converted to side folding stock. I chose the "mad max" heat cover to get the afghanistan gunsmith feeling. It is ment for my taliban loadout. more pictures to come, as soon as I get the inokatsu bolt.

hahaha, great picture. I guees I have to share my ak project with you guys. I got one of the first akm kits released by guarder (manf. inokatsu) back in the day the kit was painted and not blued. This have been a nail in my eye since I got it. I have hade some diffrent setups on my akm but finally I decided to sell it. Now some time the gun completed the circle by coming back to me and the first thing I decided to do was to give it a try at blueing it. So first of I bought myself a decent sand blaster and had my way with the stripped ak. Here is the result. To g

its more use for an shortdot on a PTW then any acog thats fore sure.

lets put it like this, you will notice that you have it. but I dont mind but maybe others do. I guess the best way is to try someones out or buy the cheap copy

looking nice there! how do you find the quality on the guarder steel barrels? the look a bit rough when displayed on the hk shop sites. what do you think about it? ever tried nineball outer barrels?

Coulden get it to cycle with this barrel since the kit was such a pain in the *albatross* but now since it started to cyvle with the first one this one have started to work aswell

If you got a ordinary aeg than it would be no problem since magpull is releasing MIAD for AEGs. If you have a PTW you would need some serios tools It was a bit hard to fit but its not impossible.
