This is the 2 patches from a comic book project I am working on that will also be used for an airsoft team.
The first one "Mongrelz" is currently at the embroidery shop her ein IRAQ I should have it back in a few days.
And the "Cowboy's From Hell" will be made depending on the quality of the Baker Patrol patch.

I run a Gemtech lanyard on my M9 on the CIRAS. I have the Gemtech buckled to the shoulder loop and have it dangle between two pouches..I never have had an issue with it gettign snagged on anything.

Man M2000 looks so sick, I really want to get some to start a Norwegian A-Stan look. I have the tricked out G3, Tan Ballcap, PRR, and other assorted goodies. All I need is the M2000, Armor carroer and an issued tacvest. I love this kit.

I wear my 9mm here in Iraq like that alot, If you keep it more center line you shouldn't have an issue with shouldering a rifle.

That's some funny-*albatross* sh*t, Knick. Did you get your PEQ-15s in FDE and then have to paint them black (dumb), or did you get issued black ones and then just keep painting them different colours?
Funny that you've been running them for years - I had no idea they'd been around that long!
We were issued black PEQ15's then just painted them tan. Yeah the PEQ15 has been around for a little while.
@hunk...sell me that Brit grip when you replace it.

Nicoli you are a gentlemen and a scholar! Thanks alot for the pics...how awkward is it to hold, aim, get site picture etc? How does the drum shoot? And last but not least...do you think you could use a front grip easily if you had a rail on there?

Is that a PEQ-15 on the front end, Knick? Never noticed before, and it looks kinda like a PEQ-15 but it's hard to tell (and wouldn't it be early on?).
Yeah it is, we have been running PEQ15's for a few years now...way before the Airsoft hype on them. I am not 100% sure but at the time I think the only other people that had them in theater was us, and the SF type units. We didn't start to see the shift on the line company side of the house until we were rolling back to the states. Alot of the ###### we had on our rifles was tier1 stuff...alot of kit we were initially issued was Tier1 stuff too. I think it is because they wern't sure what to do with us and looked at the NSW side of the house and kinda did a "whats out daddy doing" thing and just kinda copied.
The PEQ15 is awsome, it got alot of looks from 03 types and the Army would neveer beleive us when we told them we wern't Seals. It was pretty hillarious..we would be rolling around Kuwait in-processing into theater with these painted M4's all decked out with Surefires, PEQ15's, Tango Down broomhandles, ACOG's, and modded DCU's with sleeve pockets..and the Army would be like *wisper, wisper* *point,point* "Are you guys Seals?" and we would tell them no..then we got the *nudge,nudge* *wink,wink* "sure your not..we understand". It was ridculous in it's hillarity. When they finally found out what we where..well it wa s ahuge dissapointment to them..LOL.
And we eventually had to paint them all back black because higher had a hissy fit.

Nice to know, I am now shopping around for some basic parts like metal receivers and the what not. Watherorginalsonline has them for 90.00$ they seem to be off of CA SAR's. Still need to figure out the carryhandle delima. Thanks for the pic piano and the info rob.

I think that it might look good and give it a PDW feel...or it might Suck beyon words..I am partial to keeping it as is..Hell I am almost tempted to do exactly what you did and get one now. I am going to have an extra folding stock when I get back from Iraq.
Has anyone here taken an HK G3 Carryhandle and put one on their Airsoft G3? I am trying to find out if it compatiable because I need to add one to my G3LMG project. Also has anyone had experience with adding a realk HK21 Carry handle to a G3?

can't wait to see the pics, can you take pics holding it in a shooting stance and tell me if it is awkward to shoot / hold with the drum..whether a broom handle would be in the way or not easily used by the shooter as well? -
Hey G3 guys I have pic request. I am looking for pics of a G3 with a single drum and a beta C mag. IF possible a Veltor style RAS Bipod as well. I am trying to do an illustration and I am haveing a hard time visualizng the way it looks. Thanks for any pics if possible.

Yeah it makes sense, I am going to try something too in this arena. I want to build a G3 based LMG I have been designing for a comic book project I am working on. If I can get a good Airsoft replica made it would make an awsome display at conventions for the table and would draw alot of attention.
It is a select fires closed/Open bolt G3 LMG. Magazine fed utelizing a drum magazine and will have a Navy style lower receiver, RIS, and if I can figure it out a carry handle..but no removable barrel. It is going to have a AR style stock possibly as well.

Yeah a 21E or K is damn near impossible unless you know how to work wih metal and epoxy etc. An HK11 kit would rawk so hard. If someone on here could make a decent HK11 HK21 conversion kit I know I would buy one.

It should work for G3 magazines if it works for M14 and SR25. Beats out the ATS in mag carry amount and the ability to add More pouches.

He is Iraqi SF I have seen them and they are really highspeed low drag doods. Even there line infantry are starting to carry M16A1 and M16A2's. It is intresting to see really, also that pic he is sporting the IRAQI Flag on 2 sides of his vest and I think that is the IASF Battalion crest.
