  1. If that's true... ah well, what can you do. The ICS is an awesome gun.

I based it around a Noveske setup when I built it I've just actually priced up what I'd need to spend to convert it as I've just mentioned and it's put me off! The problem that I have is that it's a bit too big for the urban sites I normally play at and not as good as my M14 DMR for when I play woodland. Hmmm decisions...
  3. Will that also mean that a DD rail won't fit an ICS?

One of mine. It's currently up for sale, but I'm having second thoughts. I'm feeling the need to add the Magpul PRS stock that I've got kicking around, an M3 and an SR25 silencer. Sale thread: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...howtopic=177076
  5. I've had a search, but nothing has come up, so can anyone tell me if the Ares AG36 is compatible with the ICS L85?
  6. I'd love one of the DD foregrips, but I'm not paying £375 for one! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Picatinny-Quad-Rail-...=item35a47196be
  7. Thanks for the comments. I was leaning towards NOVA and I like a look of a lot of their other parts.
  8. I asked this in the Just Pistols forum, but haven't had any replies. I've decided to build myself a nice 1911 as a long term project. A no-expense-spared kind of thing. Going to start off with a plain old TM M1911 and go from there. Decided as the first step to get a Kimber Warrior kit. The NOVA and PGC kits are pretty much the same price, but I don't know which is best? I've not really done much GBB modding, although I do plenty on AEGs, so I'm looking for a kit that I'm ideally NOT going to have to take my Dremel to. However the quality of the kit and it's accuracy to the RS K
  9. Can someone just confirm the following for me: It will only take Milspex grips and stocks. It will accept standard TM type front ends and conversion kits. I'm pretty sure that's yes on both counts, but this thread is 119 pages long and i've been reading it over a few days. Cheers.
  10. Was considering building one just like that. Very nice!
  11. Nice one! I'm currently using a Mojji thing on mr SPR and it's *fruitcage* aweful! That looks like a really good alternative.
  12. That's really nice mate. What outer barrel are you using with that?
  13. That's very nice Hades. Makes me want to put a silencer on my SPR.
  14. Ebay is your best bet for a helmet. There's a couple on there now. Likewise ebay is also good for Camelbaks: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRITISH-ARMY-SAS-RM-...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRITISH-ARMY-CAMELBA...1QQcmdZViewItem
  15. Pics like that one of Misfit's are the reason I always find it so funny when people start argueing about UKSF loadouts.
  16. I can't wait for some up-their-own-*albartroth* idiot to start picking faults with your 'loadout'
  17. Rather than start a new topic I might as well resurect this one. I know all the tricks associated with trying to get the search engine working, but can't a list of obvious exceptions be created, so that the search engine would accept them?
  18. Get yourself on ebay and have a look for a PLCE issue vest. You can pick them up really cheap sometimes. I got a desert one for £20 delivered!
  19. To be fair mate the game on the 25th is going to be an open day, so they won't be running the kind of decent scenario orientated games that they've been having recently and like we were playing yesterday (mission plans, staff commanding the teams, uniform requirements, structured squads, full comms, ammo limits etc.). My advice would be to get down to one of the themed games in the near future More photos below if anyone is interested: Green Team (playing Chinese Army) Desert Team (playing Royal Ghurka Rifles)
  20. Cheers mate, that's the look I was going for. It was definitely another good day, but a bit too hot if you ask me! My CamelBak is definitely one of my top buys!
  21. Some in-game pics of me from yesterday at SYA Proteus. It was baking hot and I was daft enough to decide to wear a helmet and osprey! The whole British team was playing in desert kit.
  22. The illuminated reticle is a joke - its just got a blue LED in there somewhere that glows faintly. The optics aren't clear at all and distort around the edges. Its got rubbish eye relief and to cap it all off it was bloody expensive! Its not recommended at all.
  23. No probs The base gun is a G&P SPR/A [GP622] G&P Knights Type Flash Hider KA Folding Battle Sight Set Harris Bipod G&P QR Bipod Mount KA Tango Down Rail Covers KA Tango Down Grip Bomber Tactical LaRue SPR Mount Mojji Viper Scope I've got a cut down Madbull v2 Tightbore in it too. Gearbox is a standard G&P, although it needs some work. I'm really happy with it, except for the scope. I was going for a Short Dot look and the Mojji was the best option at the time, but quite frankly its a POS.
