Snorkleman - is the aluminum assembly a drop in fit into the AGM Bolt carrier? or is there some "shoe-horning" that needs to be done?

MDK - I think by "Illustrate" he meant, "take a picture of," but I could be wrong. This thread is fantastic as far as information goes. I am going to see if I can snag an hour or 2 to go thru it this week and pull all of the tips n tricks out, and condense it into one thread, or at least pop a glossary of links to the respective posts. Also, has anybody found a translated parts list/ schematic of the AGM? My Chinese is well, non-existent.

Well, I just got my 061 from ebairsoft. After 20 minutes of "gun love" --as my wife put it-- I am fairly impressed. The overall gun isn't bad at all, and I'm happy with the purchase. HOLY SCHNIKEES is the magazine HEAVY! Yeah, we know it's "700g," but until you pull the thing out of the box yourself, you don't realize that one empty magazine ways seriously almost as much as the freakin' gun! Sheesh, and I thought the PTW's "RS weight simulating" mags were heavy. With out a lighter solution, I really don't see any kind of skirmish capable loadout in our humidity. I typically roll with 8

"Pulled the trigger," so to speak. Ordered one yesterday. But everybody and their brother is out of stock on the Mags, both the AGM ones and the GHKs...

Double the mag count, throw in a pair of ghk mags, and find a Daniel Defense version of the AGM, and you're on! (payment adjusted accordingly of course )

Stealth- you said the AGM mags "swell." Is that just on Propane? or is it on duster too? Also, that kind of implies that the mag body IS the gas reservoir? That would be kinda scary...

That's a nice price to get say, a six pack to flush out a skirmishable kit, with the one from the gun and then maybe a couple of GHKs mags to run GG/Propane for longer range shots.... can't find them online at that price though...

Crimson- You ordered the Daniel Defense version from EBairsoft/ebaybanned? I don't see it on the website, and I'm looking to get it as well.

Alrighty guys.... I remember seeing somewhere some pics of a guys' workbench that he had tricked out for his collection. The work surfaces were hinged at the wall, and lifted up to reveal his Airsoft weapons, all in their own custom fitted spaces. Does anybody know where these pics are? my Google-FU is coming up short... Thanks!

uscmCorps, It looks good, but it looks kind of bulky, in an awkward way. I mean moreso than a different style of carrier. eh, maybe its just me.

We didn't have to do a test. A kid at a nearby field had one shatter and scratch up his eyelid. just dumb luck that he blinked when he did, cuz he didn't know he was being shot at. There's no way you could get me to use wire mesh. matt - I've got Wiley's SG-1s too. I've had'em for a couple years, and I stopped using 'em after trying them a couple times. I've started using them again now, and they don't fog as bad with the regular frames vs the wrap around strap. I used a buddy's FogTech wipe on them, and that lasted for 2 and a half games or so, about a month apart.

Isn't part of the point of the box mag to cause your opponets to vomit at the sight of its ugliness so they become easier targets for your Ub3R 1337 spray n' praying powers?
