Why would a metal slide be the same colour as a polymer frame? Sorry mate that one looks horrible, how dare you do that to the old warhorse? Should be shot at dawn!

Hmm, god one. Would be even better if it used a HFC M190 Frame with the M92 style grip frame and the Vertec style Rail. Go do one, you know you want to.

That would actually be quite easy to build in real steel, you'd need a side cocking conversion to mount the carry handle their though. But it would have horrible handling dynamics and yes you should get sent to hell for it!

Hmm, if that AK wasn't gold and the rearsight was mounted on the receiver instead of the flimsy top cover that would look quite good. Get rid of the Aimpoint though or at least mount it on a side rail. Strange normally don't like bits bolted onto AK's, they normally look best plain.

Its not the lamp (bulb) that counts it's the fact that the Surefire Lamps are factory focused to the reflectors and sp produce a perfect beam of light. Unlike Streamlights and Maglights etc. that suffer from dark spots and rings in the beam.

Might not be RS replica but it can't be any worse than those crappy Streamlights everyone seams to love! Give me a Surefire with proper optics anyday!

Try and source the sight from e bay and then consult your local gunsmiths or local engineering shop to have the slide cut to for it. As for the engraving look for a local Industrial Engraver

You could try getting the slide engraved and machined for RS Sights, should work out cheaper than a Kimber slide.

It's for any gun. Getting it on an Eagle would be a right bugger though If you held it under a a warm tap for a while you may be able to stretch it over the Eagle.

Exactly, so wouldn't a commander hammer fit? I may be buying a second hand Wilson Tactical Supergrade, where would be the best place to go for metal frame and slide? Its the two tone but I'm not to bothered about it staying thatway.

If you fancy something a bit different grip wise try these. They do them in shocking pink as well if youwant to be really different. Stick 1911 grips into an e bay search and you'll get loads of hits.

That streamlight's a bit dissapointing, you woulden't get rings like that in a surefire's beam!
