I have to say that that's the best paintjob i've seen on ANYTHING, weapon, helmet, ANYTHING. How'd you do it?

My desert DPM came in from the UK today, so even though i went home early because of this nasty *albatross* cold i've got, i was still able to whip this up: A tactical apron! I took the idea from TacticalGrilling.com. The bottom 2 rows of MOLLE have a double spaced part so i can "holster" my tongs and spatula. Don't mind the awful picture. It's dark and the flash washes out the colours.

Does anyone know where i can get Desert DPM fabric (doesn't matter what type 500D, cotton etc) in the States? I can only turn up google searches for stuff in the UK. Yes, i've bought webbing and stuff from them. Super fast shipping. They're a great retailer.

I just added a Guarder cutoff lever and a medium eg1000 to my downgraded pdw. Its running about 330 on .20s. Even on a 7.4v lipo it just sings. A motor upgrade to the pdw is the most worthwhile upgrade you can make.

Does anyone know how to fit an MIAD to a VFC SCAR-L?

I have the Dboys engraved version, and 2 out of the 3 fit the supplied QD sling mount. The point on the stock and the point on the left side of the receiver. The hole in the rear of the receiver doesn't have a groove machined inside it for the ball bearings to lock into. The sling mount fits in, but pulls right back out. Really disappointing because that one is the most optimal one.

It turns out that that was actually a rubber mock-up. The team was training with the mock-ups before it was being issued.

Uhm....i don't think that 2 of them have ever been together like that in the REAL STEEL, much less in airsoft. I'm surprised that you didn't cause the universe to end just by photographing 2 WA2000s side by side gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.

I think someone in a previous post mentioned that the hole for the QD sling mount isn't "deep" enough because the mechbox gets in the way. The solution was to grind/dremel the sling mount so that it would go deep enough into the hole so that it can lock into place.

I never had an issue. I played an all day op in the woods, including going through swamp/water and i had no issues with any blisters. The only thing you have to keep an eye on is to keep making sure the laces are tight, once they start loosening up you're going to get some heel rub.

My teammate who just sold me the tan EGLM i have for mine is going to get a black one and do it up just like yours. Nice job. Never seen an Elcan on a SCAR before.
