You're quite right mate. Sounds weird, considering you do a lot of reviews.... I hadn't considered it a "review page", more of a niche sub section of Airsoft. Bit like the Sniper only pages, but with significantly less ego 😂

I'm still lurking... Honestly couldn't tell you when I joined as it all reset when the forum crashed. I still remember the arguments as some had to change their usernames as they'd been snapped up by new members. Only FB page I really use for Airsoft related research is The Full 9. Everyone else seems to want me to like and subscribe to their in depth appreciation of a cardboard box, with about 30 seconds of vagueness regarding its actual contents.

I really like the look of grey kit... Unfortunately as a woodland player it has very little use for me Just thought I'd mention though.... The new A TACS LE is a lovely mix of greys. Originally it looked like blues and greys - but they've just put a photo up on FB, and it doesn't look blue at all (sorry, on my phone so can't post a pic). I was going to pick up some Kryptec Typhon, for the pose factor - but LE may have just pipped it .

I had ordered some of the 7.62 fastmags that are available at various China/HK websites. Unfortunately they never turned up, so I'm unable to comment on them I just use normal WAS pouches now, and ram an AK mag in. Not ideal, but the best option I have at the moment. Annoyingly it doesn't look like Warrior will be making AK Shingles in FG, as they've removed them from the website.

I saw that one, and thought it was a steal Barrel is 2 piece. Splits down as you say. Npas - If memory serves, it's clockwise (looking at the boltface to lengthen the valve), and drop FPS. Stock hop rubber is ok, but not great (very hard). I've replaced mine with a Firefly Soft - Which I still find overhops a .3 on a minimum setting - but I've not put a lot of rounds through it yet. Gonna try .4, even if it makes my wallet cry .

Pretty basic and lightweight rig (chicom), as I'm waiting for AK fastmags in ATACS FG for my FG RICAS... Trousers are Ops Tactical Ultimate DA Pants.

How new is yours mate? WE made the first batches a bit meh, but later ones are all good. A new WE one shouldn't fail on you.... Although 'shouldn't' never means 'won't'

I'm running an Angry Gun 6.03 with a Firefly soft in my XM177. At 340fps with a .20, I'm still over hopping a .30 slightly. It's straight and level out to about 50m, and then heads slowly up (hop is on about as minimum I can get whilst retaining the bb in the hop). Saying that, I've only put about 150 rounds through this hop, so I'm really hoping it beds in a bid. I don't mind using .40, but the players I'm shooting might .

In answer to my own "how many rounds does a 20 round mag hold" question, I've confirmed the answer as 20, despite what the WE manual says. Luckily I managed to find this out before running out of patience, and breaking something

I saw this issue a couple of pages back, and it does indeed appear to be (very slightly) raised at the back. By about 1mm (so enough to tilt the feed lips out) Stripped the mag down and reseated the top section, but it refuses to sit flush. Tightening the screw further is risking stripping the threads... The metal used for the screw itself is very soft! Unfortunately unable to take a pic right now, but I think I've found the issue... Just not a way to fix it yet . On another note. Do these 20 round mags take 20, or 30 rounds?? The manual states 30, but I've read that trying to forc

Hi guys... I've taken the plunge and bought an OB XM177e2... Love it, great fun etc... Quick fix needed please, I'm aware it's a known issue (by searching on the various forums), but nowhere seems to explain the actual fix. I'm using the 20 round mags, and one of them doesn't want to sit properly. The magazine feed lips don't clear the feed ramp (correct term?), so the mag won't insert fully without a good smack (which seems to be the generally considered 'fix'). Whilst I'm not afraid to put a reasonable amount of force behind seating a mag, with the bolt locked back, I can see it'
