God damn, all you do is ask questions in picture threads! ANYWAY, you cannot take off the "horizontal black plastic piece on the right side", it is a part of the slide itself. And, the front sight usually isn't able to be taken off, and therefore many replacment slides come with front sights already attached. GRR! Tac light still not here!

Basicly, if you're looking for a gun closer to the real steel in realism and feel, ICS' AK74 and G&G's RK 103 and 104's are the way to go.

Not the SLR105, at least not the black version, you need to go all out for the "Steel Version" for an added rail mount. You're thinking of the ICS AK74. In essence, a metal body is best for mounting a scope.

Correct Jagdraben, but upon closer inspection, he has a silver bolt on his AK, thus to make a perfect replica, you require to paint/strip the bolt to a silver colour. Yeah, I'm a nerd. The RK 103 does circles around my previous CA SLR 105. Honestly, even after the SLR had been upgraded to 400fps, my stock RK 103 STILL outperforms it. The rate of fire is ridiculous. My group owns M14's, M4's/M16's, and none of them compare the the rate of fire on the 103. I'm very happy that I had imported it from WGC. It makes me feel really happy.

Yo Jagdraben, Finally got my RK 103 in! Woo! US customs seemed to have raped my stock though, and they completely incorrectly repackaged my gun. When I opened it up, bubble wrap was just thrown back in, and the upper receiver was gouging the stock :*( . But I guess I'm lucking that the tabs are still fine. [pictures not uploading] Anyway, it seems that my STAR ak magazines are useless though, and even with modification, they can't feed correctly. So, where do you guys recommend for extra magazines? Preferably lowcap/midcap.
