I wounder how A&K did when they made their own masada with quickrealese barrel without this ringwasher/problem? and the quickrealese barrel is like 99% the same as the pts one.....and had no blueprints on the RS gun. Crapy tooling when the pts made the production setup...comes to mind.

If the barrel wobbel is a common thing on the magpul PTS masada, its relly bad since the A&K dont have this fault, and they even didnt have any blueprint of the real masada and they got it right. I hope its not a system-error in the production.

chancing the type/colour of plastic is no big deal........and the gun is ARES made, you have to be quite blind not to see the similar stuff on the ares scar and the magpull masada...nobody use these system* more than star/ares Gearbox with microswitch och quickrealese spring...99% as the ares scar/M16/m4 models Custom hopup 100% as the ares scar Why can magpull just say that the aeg is made/develop by ares?

On the A&K masada you had the lock the barrellock all the way to the side to get the wobbel to stop....and the system is the same as on the magpul. Pepole had the same problem with the A&K masada , as some of you have.

In the "exploded" drawing you clearly see the custom nuub...its made to stay put inside the hopup when the barrel is taken out. Maybe magpull/ares will realese some other nubbs(H-type)in the future?

To the question about the masada hopup A drawback with the hopup on the masada and other ares guns are that the nub is builtin inside the hopup, you cant chace the nuub. And i have seen some problem with that type of hopups before, in the scarmodels.

Well the Ares dont have the same electrical system as ordinary aegs.....it has the type like in the A&K, CA m249s....a real microswitch. So you cant compare ares with a aeg with the ordinary electrical system. So no brandblindness here! If its good or bad in a semi/auto aeg I dont know?..only used it in my m249s

its the same microswitch as in ares m16/m4 and so on. The only thing I want from the magpul masada, is the gasblock...looks really bad on the A&K Masada.

Impossibell to get a v3 GB in the masada M4 style reciver....But magpul has stated that the masada had a v3 gb, so maybe the guys just followd the specs on the gun?

Do you know if the green laser diode fits in the bracket for the redlaser in the peq-16A, whitout or minor modfication? And I mean the green laser diode that for exampel rosov has for sale
