  1. In another thread, someone has fitted the proud steel loading arms successfully, they are slightly thicker than the standard ones and make racking slightly more tough, but they fit.
  2. Here is the write up on how to install the wood furniture for the Mossberg M500. http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...t&p=1850784
  3. As promised here is a more detailed installation guide for the wood furniture set. To remove the fore grip you will firstly need to remove the two allen screws which are on the left and right hand side of the outer barrel next to the receiver. They will have a small amount of threadlock equivalent on them so they might need a quick sharp twist to crack them loose. Next hold onto the outer barrel and magazine tube and pull them away from the receiver, the pump and inner barrel will remain attached to the receiver, and without much force the magazine tube should slide free of the pum
  4. The site where I bought it from just has it down as a military spec oil finish set. http://www.havlinsales.com/ The foregrip required a groove to be cut into it, I am doing a full write up on the fitting of the kit so pictures will be up in the next day or so.
  5. My M500 with a real steel wood kit fitted.
  6. I have actually just finished installing it. It was a lot more straight forward than I thought it was going to be, I will do a more detailed installation guide when I get some time, but for now here are a couple of pics. This is the wood furniture set as it arrived from the states. A picture showing the fit of the stock to the receiver. A close up of the installed hand grip. A picture showing the complete installation. In total, it only took about 2.5 hrs to modify the wood set and get it installed. I took some pictures of the installation of the ha
  7. My wood furniture set from the states has arrived, I have not got time to do anything with it tonight, so I will get some pictures of it etc tomorrow. Does anyone know how to take apart the foregrip?
  8. One of them stock sets is on it's way to me. I have just finished modifying the number of rounds the chamber loads to three, and I have just chrono'd it using propane and 0.2g bb's. With a room temp of 22C. Single 0.2g bb = 478fps Average Three 0.2g bb's = 356fps Average
  9. I got myself a set of real M84 combats from www.militarykit.com about 3 weeks ago. I went into the shop itself to make sure I got the correct sizes. Like someone has already mentioned the jacket is lined and got quiet a bit warm with just a t-shirt on underneath, but it is bearable. Also the only other little niggle is that the zips on the jacket open back to front, i.e; pull them up to open them, and down to close. Another couple of websites I have found which are selling M84 load carrying gear etc are: www.military4you.com www.rangemaster.dk
  10. Have you ordered a wood furniture set from that site yet Lupus78? Think I might go a head and order one from them too.
  11. This other thread also lists some, along with some of the fixes. But it is 30 pages long. Click Me
  12. You would probably be better off replacing the mini connector rather than using an adaptor, it will save some space in the stock plus give slightly less resitance. You can pick up a large Tamiya connector from Component-shop.co.uk for £1 inc P&P.
  13. The plastic end caps are only held on by heatshrink, plus the battery will not fit down the narrow part of the stock with the end caps on, and you cannot just dremel that out like you can do with the butt plate opening. If you are worried about shorting the battery out at all you can just put tape over the exposed battery ends.
  14. Well it turns out that my friend was correct. You can fit a 9.6v large battery into the stock. The battery itself needs plastic end caps to be removed, then it just about fits down the narrow part of the stock, it is a pain in the *albartroth* to remove afterwards due to the slight angle on the narrow part of the stock, but it does go in.
