Why hello, the I-OTV looks like it has many features found in a CIRAS. -grin-

Hmmm. If that's a recent photo, I'd wager he's USAF. I'd find it strange there's still U.S. Army people with DCUs still, given how they're almost done phasing ACUs in with the active-duty, in-country people.

So, wait, what's it chonoing stock with an 8.4? Also, will the Private Parts magwell work with? And is the flashhider a clockwise or counter-clockwise screw?

Ouch. You can still play wearing that old helmet suspension? I get a fricken headache after 10 minutes with that. Yay for Oregon Aero BLSS pad kit.

Neoprene Face Masks....

One step ahead. I've got a $20 pair of ESS NVG Profiles headed my way, complete with a $5 Rx adapter. And FogTech works wonders. Did you know: If you buy the wire (not nylon) Rx inserts, you are good for the ICE glasses, V12 -and- NVGs? All that you need to buy are the little plastic attachments. The nylon inserts (U.S.-issue approved) will fit only in the ICE and NVG. -
Neoprene Face Masks....
vgdailynews01 replied to vgdailynews01's topic in Tactical Equipment and Accessories
That's not necessarily a problem. The integrity of my teeth is the overwhelming factor in all this. This next idea sounds a little crazy, but it’s fairly inexpensive experiment. I’m pondering getting the half-face neoprene mask and having a friend stitch in a small pocket where I can slip in a plastic shield with slits. The shield would be probably being slightly larger than an open mouth – the most probable vector for an uninterrupted BB to do damage. The advantages of this, in theory, would be lightweight protection that’d be perfect for goggles and be better than the comparatively -
Does anyone have any experience with the King Arms full and half-face masks? I've read the comments on Arnie's review board, but I wanted to double-check for a second opinion. Basically, I'm trying to find a way to insure the integrity of my teeth - I already wear a mouthguard as it is. I intend to use my ESS V12 Advancers with this getup. Also, if anyone has any suggestions on making one, I'm all ears.
