  1. I'm pretty sure that's not it... I have owned a lot of GBB's in the past and I've never had such bad gas consumption even with a first generation WE 1911 single stack.
  2. I've got two Bell 1911's and both suffer from really bad gas efficiency. One is fitted with the Guarder metal slide/frame set and the other is the newer MEU version stock. I love look and feel of both but I can only get maybe 15 shots out of either on green gas when firing very slow. Fired quickly maybe only 8 rounds before the gas is gone. And I've tried this with MEU mags, 1911 mags and KJW 1911 magazines. Other people are telling me they get 20+ on a fill of gas, any tips to help make these guns more skirmishable?
  3. I'm not sure where it gets stopped but if I hit the magazine after it stops feeding I can hear several bb's click up into the tube so I'm guessing it's at the joint between the magwell and the magazine. I'll try taking the midcaps apart and clean/lube them later but that shouldn't be it since they're very new.
  4. I installed the private parts magwell conversion a while ago and a box of MAG midcaps just came in the mail today and I am sad to say that they feed miserably right now. I'm hoping that after time they will break in and be able to feed at least halfway decent. One of the magazines will feed one bb at a time with a smack to the bottom in between every shot. My CA hi cap however feeds like a charm so...
  5. My recently remodeled G36E... I got the magwell conversion for practical reasons(bulky G36 mags) but I've grown to like the look of M16 magazines in G36's
  6. Very nice review, one question though. You said it can reach out to 20 Meters but how fast are the bb's going? Can you feel it through full gear?
  7. No they're horrible, avoid them. Compared to the TM mags they suck. Mine leaked from day one because they left out an o ring. Also the valve sticks out a little so it gets stuck in the gun. Meister mags are also very tight in TM guns but TM mags work flawlessly in Meister guns.

  9. Quick update, I found out why the slide was locking back randomly. The part on the bb follower on the magazine was 2 mm too hight so on the last bb it would still push the slide lock up. 5 minutes with a dremel and it was fine. Also the gas doesn't leak anymore when the slide is open. Seems like it just needed some time to get broken in.
  10. For those that wanted a look at the internals... Take down is the same as a TM G17
  11. Continued... For anyone that was confused in any way, this review pertains only to the Gas Blowback Airsoft handgun modeled after the Glock G17 by the new Airsoft company Meister. If you would like any information on the Real steel gun it imitates, here are some links… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glock_17 http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg15-e.htm Now on with the review! Operation and Testing The operation of this GBB is like that of any airsoft gas gun. The magazine loads just like any other, it holds about 23-24 depending on how many you want to squish in. The ma
  12. How can you call it garbage because of those cosmetic issues alone? Most people nowadays get aftermarket metal slides for their TM glocks anyways so why does the stock slide's finish matter? The magazine issue can also be remedied by buying any TM G17 mag. Obviously you're not going to be getting the absolute best quality in a gun that costs $50 but if you want to customize a glock that's TM compatible, this is the way to go. Once I get a chance to fire it down a range longer than my bedroom I'll finish the review with more statistical data.
  13. Someone I met in a shop in Hong Kong had this custom Glock. I'd like to give him credit but I don't remember his name
  14. The difference in slide color actually isn't that bad, the flash on the camera made it seem a lot worse than it is. I don't know about the second version but the recoil on this one is pretty snappy as it is. Actually comparable to my TM Hi capa 4.3 which is saying a lot. It was supposed to be a TM clone but I've never seen the inside of a TM G17 so... What I can tell you is that it doesn't look like a KWA G18C on the inside.
