I just bought a set of G36 side rails. I can't find it anymore on Taiwangun, looks like I got the last set. Like THESE, only 2 pieces instead of 3. Then I layed them on where I thought I wanted the VFG, scratched a small hole with a screwdriver. Then drilled a small hole with a powerdrill, then enlarged the hole with a drill that was just as wide as the screws. Only screws came with the set, no hex nuts. So searched some in the parts bin. Same for the side rail. The plastic seems more then solid enough to hold the VFG and even use it. If you wanted, you could place another

Did someone say Sig? Because of my long arms, and boredom, I decided to get my paws on a JG Sig 550. Ended up getting one from Taiwangun, about 230€'s shipped with 2 x G36 rails and a nice Leupold replica. Ordered on Monday, recieved on Thursday. Not bad! But what to do with all the rails? The bipod still works btw in combo with the VFG btw. But which one is the biggest? Well, that settles it I like!

Thanks The stock is very easy, standard installation. I'm having another problem though. Ever since I installed the G&P outer barrel, the front sight has gone wobbely. I can install a new flat gas block thing, but I want to retain the standard front sight. I can buy a steel front sight from Guarder or something, but I'll get that when I get a metal body from Hongkong. Has anyone got the same problem?

Got a new RIS system. I couldn't get the Larue replica from Ebaybanned on, because there's a thick ring on the WA stock outer barrel. Ofcourse it did fit when I put the G&P outer barrel on. But I already ordered the new RIS, the Daniel Defense 7.0 Lite rail replica from www.scopeandlaser.com On some pics the DD rail is wet, that's because there was quite alot of grease on it, so I used degreaser. Oh it's a valid point, I get it totally. But I do think that airsoft is not your average consumer product. No matter how good your product is, no matter how much stuff you change, or how much your gearbox is re-enforced, or how good the new hopup chamber is, the damned things break. Always. AEG, GBB, the lot. I stopped playing actively simply because everything breaks down/doesn't preform the way it should. That doesn't mean I redeem WA, they put a faulty product out there. But I do think airsoft replica's are so prone to breakdowns, you're inevitably going to refurbish the whole interi

But then again, I would expect the price to be low. Thanks man. I'm loving it MIAD on the way, and a new flashhider (god that stock one is terrible!) I think that's about it. Then I'll just keep looking at the explosion diagram in the manual, so I'm fully prepared when I get the metal body

So, another thingie arrived... G&P M4A1 Carbine outer barrel! Nice Markings Oh look....the bottom band is way thinner on the G&P outer barrel. On the right the stock WA unit, with the thicker bottom band...wait a minute...I wonder... Oh yes! Pretty! So basically the G&P outer barrel made my crappy cheapo RIS fit. Think it has something to do with RS dimensions, again. Looks very nice now! Also a point worth noting, the reciever (plastic), was ok in the beginning, not too bad. But now it's quite obvious! My MIAD came like this, with the trigger guard added. Can you confirm if that's a real one or not? And for fitting it, just the same position, stock screw in the middle hole? With the normal backplate or the one with the "backwing"? Well I would like to get a real one, but Larue is not shipping to EU. And yes, I know people have said "we can ship it out for you" but when I spend my money I'd rather see it go to the shop instead of a go-between, heared enough bad stories... I don't like the whole China-copy thing either, but that's what we gotta work with here in Belgium.
