  1. Just so you know, Recover Tactical makes a rail system that fits on the G26 called the GR26. It's a small rail but it takes minutes to install and can be removed with zero damage to your pistol. I bought them for the G17 and 19. I also purchased their GCH Charging handle and installed it on 2 of my TM/Guarder G17 builds and they are easy to install, no modifications are required and they work great. You should check out their web site.
  2. I'll have to check it out. I've always loved the look.
  3. Ok, I found the hole where the screw is supposed to be. But, naturally no screw and the hole is not threaded. However, I checked the Colt Rail Gun slides and they also have the hole but no screw. It appears KWC are now driving a pin from the inside of the slide up into into the sight post through a second hole and it a real tight press fit or glued. Who can figure. Decided to lock tite it down and see if it will hold. Now here is where the KJW system of a screw from the outside top of the sight going into the slide is the better deal. Re-assembled the pistol in the new "new" two tone
  4. And to think I got a whole bunch of new Dremel stuff this Christmas. That KWC Tactical is really sharp. I have the Colt Rail Gun in all "stainless" and just got the RWA Nighthawk Custom Covert Ops with the thought of making a Two Tone with Black slide and silver Rail Gun frame. Only issue is the front sight is a bit loose on the Nighthawk and I've not been able to figure out how to remove it and replace it or tighten it.
  5. I started here in 2004 and learned quite a bit from you folks. I still check it out a couple of times a week. Has always been a good crew here and very civil. Hope to see a return of some of our missing "long time" members and any new builds.
  6. How hard was it to modify the grip panels for the C02 magazines?
  7. Good Lord that is just plain awesome. Going to show that picture to my Wife and prove that I'm no where near the limit. Impressive, most impressive!
  8. They both look great. Especially liking the G19. Nicely done.
  9. Like the look. Is that the KJW threaded barrel? What brand is the RMR sight mount your using, it is exactly what I'm looking for?
  10. Just went to buy a couple G17 and G18 FG frames but they are suddenly all sold out. Figures! Dj_Komodo, I'm liking that pistol more every time it comes up. While I'm not sure about the compensator, I do like the magazine pad. Care to say where I could purchase a couple? The Inforce light also looks best on Glocks. Currently using TLR-1 or actual M3 but the Inforce looks like it belongs there. Going to have to order one. I'm also interested in the process you used to "age" the slides finish. Overall, a superb job.
  11. I would replace the Detonics slide and barrel for a 4.3 barrel and slide from a hi-cappa. I think it might look more natural with the stock and you would get a little bit of better range, accuracy and power. I do like the concept though.
  12. I've made 3 G19's using KJW G23's and Guarder slides, frames and some internals and only issue I had was the Guarder guide rod (which kept shifting during firing and was super annoying) and replaced it with the standard KJW guide rod and they work terrific. Is there any news as to when this TM G19 is going to appear? Do you think, with the introduction of the Elite Force licensed G19 "to be available soon" might put the brakes on the TM version?
  13. KJW has a threaded barrel for their G23. Its pretty generic and has zero markings. I've not seen one out there for awhile, but on occasion I have seen them on Evike (they do have it now listed under M23 for $29.99 US). In the picture it does show .40SW on the hood, however when I got mine, a couple years ago, there were no markings. They work fine, are made by Matrix, are steel and have 14mm positive thread. Strange that the G19/23 model is such popular pistol, but no one makes Salient style slides or barrels for them (other than really expensive full kits). Wish guarder would come out wi
  14. Nice work. Appears I'm not the only one who likes the "Foliage Green" frames.
  15. Have to also give props to the KWC/Cybergun 1911's. Have a Colt Rail Gun and the 1911A1 with parkerized finish. They work all the time and I've never had a weather issue with either of them. They work so well that I've pretty much retired my KJW's and TM's (no I'm not giving them away..lol) My only issue is that, every now and then, I was activating the thumb safety while shooting. I took a dremmel tool and just deepened the notch in the lever so that the spring loaded pin just went a tad deeper into the safety. Those photos of the WE and KWC/Cybergun Rail Guns are terrific.
  16. All this needs is some "suggestive beat music" and I'd have to agree with you. One of the best G34's I've seen yet.
  17. That last Glock, is that a Timberwolf frame?
  18. That is awesome. I have been hoping for a new P7M8 or P7M13 for years and years (i owned a real steel P7M8 a long time ago. It shot like a laser). You are a very lucky guy and I am super envious. Just super!
  19. I'm waiting for the WE "chrome" version. If the finish holds up as well as it has on my "semi-satin silver" WE P38 it should look nice even after some use in and out of a holster.
  20. I can see where you might be right about a full length 1911. While it has the inner length (that Mauser pistol is quite long) the inner taper of the front end could be a problem, What brand stock is that? My only other suggestion was going to be to get a hold of a WE Commander length slide and barrel as it has the proper slide shape and early military style sights, I've used them on a couple of my own "franken-builds" and they work pretty well (especially on KJW 1911 frames!). You will still have the cone barrel, but everything else would look period. *I'm such an idiot..I just actuall
  21. I am so having a hard time finding a G34 "aluminium slide" and barrel for my Guarder framed G17 . Got Wood? yours looks great.
