I need to contact some airsoft gear manufacturers-someone seriously needs to make a replica ANVIS mount kit, ie; helmet mount, batter pack. Also there needs to be a replica/dummy ANVIS-6/9 also. We now have replica Norotos 1, 3 point mounts and even rhino arms. We also have the G&P replica AN/PVS-7, 14.
How about replica Ops-Core FAST Bump and Ballistic helmets?

Nice pic, but drop the chicken wing

Haha Medic, I was just about to post this very pic here myself and what do I find?
masakarijoe: Yeah, yeah, someone pointed it out as the photo was being taken. But it was too funny to not finish. Do you know how hard it is to get a guy to levitate for a photo?
Here's the same photo off of the blooper reel:

You can just make out a kid standing at the driver-side door. You can also make out a round in flight. The round impacts on the kids dome, killing him and everyone in the truck.
Also happened the same day:
Yes, it's a real snowball. Yes, it's really on fire. No, don't ask why.

A members of a Deployed Aircraft Ground Response Element from the 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron catalog and bag evidence gathered from a simulated high value target elimination scene during the Emerald Warrior Exercise, Feb. 3. The forensic evidence collected from the scene could result in the identification of other high value targets.

1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron? Are they any different from run of the mill USAF Security Forces? If they are, these pics make a lot more sense. If not, could this be the first example of a "regular" unit running Multicam?
Wiki, says 1st SOSF Squadron falls under the 1st Special Operations Mission Support Group as do:
* 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Communications Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Comptroller Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Mission Support Squadron
* 1st Special Operations Services Squadron

Air Force seems to be the most blatant about rocking Multicam. Does that give hope to ABU being replaced?

These pics need to be posted in the AFSOC thread. These are epic!

Super low-key, overseas traveling loadout. Picture taken at Gaudi's Parc Gruel in Barcelona.

Ya'll mean advancing to the rear right?

Joint terminal attack controllers review map data using the MVRIII, or Mini Rover, while participating in Atlantic Strike VII June 16 in Avon Park, Fla. The MVRIII is a global positioning system integrated micro computer utilized for targeting purposes. Atlantic Strike is a joint-forces training event involving JTACs from the Army, Air Force and Marines and is held semi-annually at Avon Park Air Ground Training Complex. Last I checked the AF doesn't have JTACs. We have dudes that do the same thing but not under that name. Hickem is all ANG now too according to my buddy that is stationed there.I agree Kraut, stupid difference, but it seems like something written by the AF and for them to call their own people by the wrong name is puzzling.
I think this picture kind of says otherwise...
Couple that with:
A qualified (certified) Service member who, from a forward position, directs the action of combat aircraft engaged in close air support and other offensive air operations. A qualified and current joint terminal attack controller will be recognized across the U.S. Department of Defense as capable and authorized to perform terminal attack control. Also called JTAC.US Marine JTACs are trained at Expeditionary Warfare Training Group, Pacific (EWTGPAC), and Atlantic (EWTGLANT), Air Force students are taught at Nellis AFB, Nevada and Navy students at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) at NAS Fallon, Nevada by SEALs assigned to NSAWC.
Forward Air Controllers or "JTAC's" are now also trained at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany through the JFCOE (Joint Firepower Center Of Excellence).
The Royal Australian Air Force in 2006, became first foreign air force to receive Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) accreditation from the United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM)[1].

I once played a guy with two P226s. One in a dropleg Serpa holster with the other being in a Serpa CQC between the two straps of the dropleg on the belt. Twas odd.

I'll stick to medical then.
Thanks for the heads up

Don't cross this line

A1C Guthrie looks like she may be pretty cute lol.

Only quasi-authorized modification I've heard of is removing the internal map pockets.

Pretty cool, AF using the IOTV. Bonus: RAID modified ABUs
Edit: On second thought, it might just be the APECS jacket

Before:
Staff Sgt. Matthew Slaydon prior to the attack which robbed him of his sight and one arm -- plus a multitude of facial lacerations and a collapsed lung. ABU is digital tiger stripe, with less tan than ACU.
I defer to you, since you're actual AF lol.
But the pics I see seem to be slightly to significantly more, depending on the picture.
I dunno, could be my monitor is off...

Air Force secretary discusses tankers, cyber operations
Staff Sgt. Justin Cremer nominates a target for a close-air-support mission during a demonstration conducted for Air Force Secretary Michael W. Wynne during his April 3 visit to Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., April 3. The target was derived using a machine-to-machine interface, which by automatically transferring coordinates into the cockpit, streamlines the kill chain. Sergeant Cremer is a a tactical air control party Airman. (U.S. Air Force photo/Mark Wyatt)

Ya even though it's probably incorrect, since the phaseout date isn't till 2011 I'm sure AFST will be using DCU's until they have to switchHmm most of the recent PJ pics I've seen they've still been using DCU's, however other AF special tactics units and TAC-P's have been commonly wearing ACU's.
