  1. That AK is hot, but what's the significance of the cyrillic lettering on the side? "Shurik" is a man's name. It's like a pet name for people called Alexander.
  2. A cheap shotgun case, pistol case and socom case... ..open to reveal treasure.
  3. My 933... TM internals and front end, G&P marine body, G&G stock with CAA stock saddle, Magpul MIAD grip, G&P carry handle cut, sanded and resprayed into buis, G&P 551. Probably going to respray the stock saddle OD to match the MIAD, and have a 2 tone stock thing going (or vice versa - green stock/black saddle). Not sure what to do about the sights, though. The non flip buis makes the co-witness a pest, so I need to either somehow raise the Eotech slightly to get 1/3 co-witness or get a flip buis. Or just shove the thing on top of my MP5A4, and get a new
  4. A few pictures of my Colt Commando. It was an M733 (Tokyo Marui) once upon a time, but now it's probably got more in common with the RO933. I was considering converting it into a CQBR, but decided against it, as I prefer the non-RIS front end.
  5. Looks alright. What cheap paint did you use?
  6. The current status of my M733, although I suppose it's an RO933 these days. Gotten a bit bored with it though, as I really want something with rails. I've been feeling like a CQBR so I'm thinking I might buy a Dboys CQBR, and then swap around the receivers so I can keep my G&P body and TM mechbox, and gain myself some rails and a crane stock, and then just use the Dboys body/mechbox to rebuild this one and sell it to cover some of the cost of the CQBR. Anyone got any other suggestions on how to make my rifle interesting again?
  7. How odd. In the original pictures the handguards don't look as fat as they should to my eye, but in the handguard comparison it becomes obvious. Might be the paintjob changing my perspective a little. Kind of like when somebody fat wears vertical stripes and looks thinner than they actually are.
  8. Looks very nice. The King Arms OPS silencer really sets it off. Not sure about your 779 designation, though. 779's have a full M4 profile front end, but your handguards look too thin. I assume thats based off a TM M733? The 733 has thinner and longer handguards than an M4, and therefore the 779. I would presume that the 779 has the same front sling swivel as an M4 as well. Then there's the question of firing mode. The wikipedia article on the subject seems to list the 779 as being an S-1-F carbine, with the 777 as S-1-3, but the Colt Defense website has the opposite listed. The have the 779
  9. One of my experiments in grip reduction and texturing. It may be a .410 shotgun shell, rather than a 12 gauge, but have you seen the Thunder 5 revolver? Shotgun pistols ftw!
  10. Just found my old AUG springer from 10 years ago in the basement in a very sorry state. Fixed it, resprayed the body.... and it's still a piece of junk, but at least it looks better.
  11. Words cannot express the sheer jealousy I feel right now, Junior. I need to buy some more Glock's. Where did the folding stock come from? One of those would be awesome on my new G23f.
  12. Seconded. That came out very nicely. Not that there's a whole lot of deserts, here in Finland, but your paintjob will disappear in the dry grass thats around this time of the year.
  13. Posted a similar one in the BHD picture thread, earlier on, but here's two better pictures for this thread.
  14. Real ones do have FN trades. FN M16A2 FN M16A4 Never seen an airsoft body with them before, though. Edit: Found one. They do exist!!
