  1. My VIS-1-AK (carbine w/ shell deflector and forward assist) was $640. That's just the upper w/ port door. Add onto it the fact that you need a PTW to put it on....
  2. With a little work, the 5.56 ones will fit on AK mags.
  3. But no I'm working on converting it though. Some sort of revolving shotgun type deal.... replace the nerf darts w/ inner barrels loaded w/ 5 BBs each or something like that, with a tiny, almost hopup like nub to keep them in.
  4. Not bad at all. I'd kinda like to see a little more black around the edges of the worn spots, but that's me.
  5. Hades, I just checked VLTOR's website, because I didn't belive USCM either.... Looks like he was right though "The manufacturing process of the VIS is unique...starting with what is essentially a traditional separate upper receiver and handguard, these parts are partially machined then permanently joined using an exclusive welding process - this composite unit is then stress relieved, final machined and heat treated. This innovative process allows the VIS to accept any standard AR barrel! The only thing that is changed is the barrel nut used with the VIS, the required barrel n
  6. Holy ######, there's a weld there!?! I can't even tell on mine....
  7. 1 Piece; though the bottom rail section is removable, for mounting the barrel, and on the shorter ones, in case the user should wish to mount an M203 or flare launcher....
  8. That's alot of money....wow. Top one looks like one of my real ones (and will more so when I move into a "free" state)
  9. It's a revolver....I swear. j/k Really, I just posted to say: WatZ, that's a really nice 65. I'm kinda jealous.
  10. Almost look glued together even. Huh.
  11. It's for sale one here too.... Nice detective work How much do you want to spend? http://www.blackhawk.com/product1.asp?P=90CP00BK http://www.blackhawk.com/product1.asp?P=90CP01BK Old school.... http://www.ima-usa.com/product_info.php/products_id/1556 Something a little different... http://www.cheeknstock.com/order_form.html
  12. Last night's project for the new M14....only took about 25 minutes (+ cure time for the JB weld...)
  13. The M14 has a pretty significant muzzle rise in automatic fire, the fold up buttplate is for added stability, if I recall correctly. Chris, it's not STAR (Do they even make a "regular" m14?)
  14. I knew I'd be getting another one, just didn't think it'd look like this.... New M14 Scout (anyone care to guess the brand?)
  15. Shoot, he's got more money on there than BOTH of my real AR15s....friggin crazy Titleist!
  16. It's not. The SP M16 carbines have a forward assist, as well as a "fenced" lower. Both features are absent on this rifle; also, the bolt is not defined enough to be a SP one, it's a cover for the hopup. That and the grip is too fat. It's an AEG w/ a G&P M16VN body... Picture thread! My old SP M16A1 Carbine...I miss it!
  17. Looks like a G&P Slabside M16 body to me.
  18. I think it's a 12.5" barrel is why....proportions seem to be spot on for one.
  19. Well, that's officially sexy.
  20. They make fake 10rd-30rd (they hold 10 rounds but look like the full size ones) round magazines for real AKs....you could get one of those and destroy it and put airsoft internals into it. Check the forums on www.calguns.net for where to buy(We have similar restrictions here in Kommiefornia)
  21. It comes with the scope in the package, as well as the longer mounting screws for the base. I mean you could use it "if you want", sorry for not being specific. I got mine from RSOV.
  22. It's the "ACM" or chinese Comp M4. Without the spacer installed (which it comes with if you want, as well as the extra screws), it cowitnesses with my BUIS perfectly. With the spacer installed, you can just barely see the sight picture in the very bottom of the red dot.
  23. It's a magazine fed m1100 defender, you don't have to pump it! That's what the cocking handle on the bolt is for....
  24. My version of a "plane jain" M4.... yes the battery is in the stock pouch; I like the balance better this way. And a closeup
