Seems like the Angry Gun version of the pistol grip holds more gas, while the G&P has interchangable gas tanks, but can also refilled while still inside. Check out the comparison at RedwolfAirsoft video: ...i'm...torn now. I like the Angry Gun low down cheek rest, but at the same time, find it a hassle to buy the extra furniture that will be limited (For pistol grip/only GBB M4 style) so it'll practically be just the same price as the G&P. But from AngryGun has a more elaborate attachment procedure then G&P... difficult choice...

haha. Sounds like my "Umbrella Rule", when you don't have an Umbrella, it rains. When you bring an Umbrella....it never does!

Both Angrygun and G&P version now available on EhobbyAsia: G&P Complete version: https://shop.ehobbyasia.com/g-p-gas-charging-collapsible-stock-seet-for-marui-m870-shotgun.html#.U7oX3PmSy4I Angrygun "barebone" version: https://shop.ehobbyasia.com/angry-gun-retractable-gas-tank-stock-for-marui-m870-shotgun.html#.U7oX4PmSy4I While the angrygun is cheaper, it'll be just the same (more likely more) as you need to purchase a pistol grip and but stock, but even so I'm tempted to get it as i'm hopelessly sill with customisation....

Oh! you hooked it up to an external gas tank, no wonder you are using such heavy BB's. I'm surprised they let you have such a setup! How do you control the power? doesn't it have to be under 400fps?

ah, i get it. i never taken the internal casing within the metal receiver apart, so that explains why i've seen it before. Also why would you use any bb above .23? It's range is already short enough.....

thanks trap & Habakkure, I believe you are both right. mind you when I'm operating with my m870, I do the same thing. I rather take fewer shots then swap out the magazine then to be in a situation where I don't know how many shots I have left. I guess that's the limitation of this type, there is no indication that you need to reload...

I've clocked close to 300fps with ONE BB on 134a gas and the was on the first shot with a freshly filled stock gas mag. I suppose it's possible with that stock on green gas @ above 20°C with one BB on first shot. but let's be realistic, it's probably going to be around the 300ish fps on 3 shot mode on 134a is around 270ish for me @ 25°C

They use top gas in the video, so green gas basically. So I agree, performance wise there is no difference with the G&P, Build wise, i have yet to comment on, as we all haven't had the chance to look-feel. but if we are to go on looks, hence i will get the AG version, because. Oh, i guess the last criteria is price, but i think at this point, no one wants to think about that....right now.

The main difference i heard from the G&P version, is that the pistol-grip base-component where it mates with the receiver, has a over-lip, so it "cups" that is very noticeable. Angry gun version, as you can see in the screenshot, is flush against the receiver, so it looks more natural.

EhobbyAsia on the Angry Gun m870 gas-tank pistol grip stock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiContbKbjY No link to the product page yet, can't find either. but its good that they have the video up. Might be tempted to head down to the shop today and give them the spanish inquisition and 'fess up about it! edit: here are some screenshots, Maximum number of shots per gas tank is 8 shells on 3 shot mode, so 80 shots?

My apologies, from some quick research i did, i found out the density of HCFC-22 as having a gas density of 3.7182kg/m3 while propane was at a gas density of 1.8988kg/m3 .But whether it was applicable to the power difference between green gas and red gas, i was just going on a uneducated guess that it would expel more gas molecules under the same circumstances between these two. But as you mentioned, i did not consider expansion ratio or vapour pressure. Interesting to note, now that you pointed that out, hcfc-22 vapor pressure isn't all that different from propane at 853kPa to 908kPa for

Yeah. Red Gas, or to be more specific HCFC-22. It has a slightly higher density than propane a.k.a green gas, so in theory it can expand far more than Green Gas under the same temperature and capacity. However, the Red Gas is a more damaging greenhouse gas and might not be available for sale in your country and due to it's rarity, the regulation to the formula in these cans are less uniformed and may simply contain green gas mixes or other types as they are rarely properly labelled, so please do a little research before purchasing any of them.

A: Green Gas? Not without modification to the gas magazine. B: Wobble on the pump grip, not a pressing issue, but can be annoying and probably contribute to further problems if it isn't addressed. Nozzle failure, i've not experienced this myself, it could simply be a few bad lemons, but a pressing concern due to the limited replacement parts available right now. The complexity of the internal parts, if you intend to upgrade that goes beyond simply replacing the stock, it will require taking the internal out from the receiver, which will make it more likely for you to disturb and possibly

Nope. And i'm positive it's assembled in Hong Kong, so i'm not sure whether it makes sense to buy something that has been built and packed just down the road, then shipped over to the UK, only to buy it, so they can ship it back.....

if your it wobbles side to side, probably the ring at the front. to be honest, i don't know what happened to your feeding problem, i never taken my inner barrel off, so you'll have to refer back to geko's youtube video guide, I'm afraid. for the padding, it's between the carrier and the rail, i just loosen the screws, put in folded bits of black electrical tape, then tightened it up. it didn't eliminate all the wobble but it's far more sturdy then before.

glad to hear you got it working. feeding could be the feeding spring in the shells, put a little silicon in them helps. I haven't got any "barrel wobble" (outer barrel or inner?) only foregrip wobble, but that's because i got a g&p tactical metal one that i still haven't padded correctly. Outer just needs overall tightening of screws. inner barrel, it could be the spacer that holds the three barrels in position isn't seated properly.
