  1. i like the five shots, i think it's a feature not a problem. You get 6 shots instead of 5, what's not to like about it?
  2. You don't tell me if it locks when you pump it back preventing you from pushing it forward or if it locks after you push it forward, preventing you from pumping back after a shot. I've experience both problems, the first is easy, it means you didn't put the trigger block in correctly, but the complication is that you can do more then one shot, so it leads me to think its the latter. I'm no expert, but from a little experience i've had, i think the problem lies at no.3. If you can pump and and shoot more then once, that means you got everything in place and things are moving correctly,
  3. HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAHAHAHA!! Sorry, that's the funniest thing i've heard today! Probably because it's something i would do. (Still do actually..lol) But before you send it off, (hopefully you see this before you do) your problem sounds similar to what happened to FTZ-WILDECARD when he took his shotty apart, we managed to sort it for him. Have look at this: http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/210618-tokyo-marui-m870-tactical-gas-tri-shot-shotgun-picture-text-and-video-review/page-28&do=findComment&comment=2661789 (page 28 of this thread) Wort
  4. Pistol grip looks amazing! Ehobby posted a teaser and I can't wait to run down to the shop and get it!
  5. Depends where you are? If your country has had problems with Gas Grenade BB shells from replica grenade launchers, (i.e. they require you to fill each shell with gas to fire) then you might have cause to be concerned. Best to check before thinking of getting the CAM870M. As to answer the HPA question, the fact that a green gas 3rd party reservoir was successfully adapted for the m870, a HPA is very possible and i think it will be quite easy considering the way the main body is attached to the tank. The only problem will be switching out the nozzle and configuring the correct ps
  6. I stand corrected, the designation of the APS shotgun is CAM870, not CA870 And just to clarify, i didn't say the CAM870 will automatically be better than the TM M870, however the system does seem to be more effective as a shotgun should be. However since i have yet to see much information about it to discuss about any of your points, i'll just have to take your word for now. But there is one thing i can agree with you, it's going to be an expensive system! I can hear my wallet crying, but luckily i'm selectively deaf at the moment.
  7. Just to be clear, the tank on the 870 is fine for japanese home market specifications, as it was built to take HFC134a aka "Duster" gas. However, it is unsuitable for Green Gas application without some modification, therefore in stock configuration limits the effective range of the shotgun, bringing the fps of the group shot to be around 240-280fps (temperature variation). If you want something with better range, i suggest the CA870 that will be released sometime soon, which takes CO2 charged shells that are loaded with paper wads and hold 12 BBs per shot. Firing with a more realistic
  8. pardon? sorry Berserk, i'm not really sure what you are trying to do? can you elaborate? Edit: ha! that was quick! What did i say? Japanese? EASY.
  9. Now i feel bad for not really remembering how to do it properly and yet gave you advice. I'm sorry. So i took apart my m870 and had a look and here is what i did to get the foregrip to slide forward again. Now to get your trigger block into the correct location, you have to make sure that no.1 catches on no.2, remember this, because when you get it correct in, this will stop your trigger block from falling out. The mechanism that is preventing you to push your foregrip forward is located on the left arm, no.3. Now you can use a small flat screw driver to flip it down, but the e
  10. Ah, yeah. That happened to me first time I did it. Guess it means not cocked when you put it in, Do apologise it was a couple of months ago and my memory is hazy! As for releasing the hammer I can't precisely remember how I did it, but I vaguely remember pushing something in the trigger block to release the hammer, because that is the thing that operates the safety or the thing that stops you from double cooking the trigger. Edit: also explains why it's under tension when you put it in, it has to catch and push against the hammer, which tell you it's correctly in.
  11. Oh, that frigging trigger block, I remembered i had to take it out 3 or 4 times, until I got it right. The trick is that if it's loose and Easy to fit in, then it's wrong. I can't remember if it's when you cocked it or not, but the hammer on the trigger block must be under tension when you put it in. So when you put the trigger block pin on, you will have to hold it in a little tightly to align the holes and gently plastic/rubber Mallet it in. It's difficult If you only using your two hands doing this two things, if you have a bench press it might make your life easier. Anyway, good luck
  12. ACM shells are alright, i paid US$30 for 16 shells. only 10 worked, but thats still better then paying the same amount for just four TM shells. Really have to try the lub thing though, i might be able to get those other shells working!
  13. Oh. Whoops. Thought you were talking about the barrel ring not the front sight.
  14. I'm pretty sure G&P is on it, they are one of the only company with a 3rd party gas tank for the M4 gbb rifle, the fact that they were one of the first of HK companies with m870 accessories out on the market, means they have already got the m870 stripped and documented down.
  15. WGC takes forever...because they are located out in the sticks up near the P'Republic China Border! (well, only 40mins drive, but thats far by HK standard). Well, that's my theory, all the other shops are near urban area, especially Ehobbyasia and Redwolfairsoft which is right next to the main courier/post station which will take the goods straight to the airport in under 20mins. (sometimes via the express airport railway). Anyway, the point is that ordering from everyone besides WGC you probably get faster goods. Only time i ever shop at WGC is when im playing on their site and i br
  16. Very Nice! was it hard to remount the front sights?
  17. You could do that, but you have to do some tricky disassembly. And let's be frank, unless you are thinking of getting some longer inner barrels, that extra length is useless. I'm used to pistol grip shotty, the short length is essential for CQB. The long length of the current m870 is tricky, since the CQB u HK are exactly that. Fricking CLOSE. Actually had one game where I went one the corner, and a bloke pushed my barrel aside, we Were that close, if it was a loyal grip, or just a shorter barrel, I'm pretty sure I could of bingo/shot him faster. So that's my take of things. Oh, th
  18. Hmmm.. I just find it uncomfortable. This is probably my fourth masked I've tried. Others were comfortable, as they were soft toys, but in summer and autumn they just fog up any eye protection I wear. Hard masks are difficult, to put my cheek against any of my rifles including the m870. But hell, going though my 5th lower mask, I'm still looking for a good fit, what's this iron mask? Do you have a picture? I'll see if I can find one here in Hong Kong.
  19. haha. well wingman, I always wear a lower mask (ever since i got a mouth and nose full of bbs) so i can't use the iron sights anyway, its too low. so in my opinion, if you wear a full face mask or are planning on putting some sort of sight, then i say just saw it. You aren't going to miss it and when the after-market full RAS rails comes out, you can add that on and put back your own iron sights if thats your piece of cake.
  20. no problem john. also, when i was fitting on a vertical grip, i remembered what spam did.... I can do it too! These G&P metal foregrip is just right weight. gonna do this at my next cqp game! heh. Anyway, here is my shotty, with vertical grip.
  21. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/sa-airsoft-134a-gas-500ml.html http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/shop/thunder-shoot-134a-gassea-mail-only-p-2312.html?cPath=1_65 There is another one, which comes in a black can, it has HFC134a in red letters, i got it on Dundas Street, mongkok, its the shop inside the shopping centre next to the Welcome supermarket. Would post a picture for you, but at work still, but it was about $60-65 i think, can't remember, been using it for the past two games and its fine.
  22. I've switched back to 134a, it was rediculous on green gas. I think until I can find a maruzen pistol grip green gas tank spare to mod, i'll just stick to 134a
  23. thanks wildcard. I hope you get some of those mod parts at your local, i still remember how long it takes for these stuff to get there.
  24. thanks phresh! actually found a spare lighter, but typically it was a flintless ignition type, i did try the button spring in it though, but it was too fat and short. will have to see if i can find any of those old type lighters here. But anyway, here is my m870 with the m870 G&P Forearm A type! As you can see, it makes my m870 look HIDEOUSLY ugly and mean. I love it. Once again, thanks Spam and Phresh for getting me out of the low point. That tip with the marker down the barrel to get the front barrel ring on, is simply genius. worked bang on, twice in
  25. thanks Spam & phresh! Confirming what i feared about those body springs. one of those just escaped me. But luckily i guess i can do without the fake ejection cover springing back all the time. Also the bit about the front end is a relief, just saw a vid from a bloke called Maple Leaf and he said it was mistake to unscrew that front-barrel ring off, glad to hear i have to take it off anyway.
