  1. You should believe it. Japan has different laws, as Wingmann has demonstrated, i've order once or twice from Japan in the past, but that was probably 5-6yrs ago. One was a tanaka works pistol, magazine with valves and all was assembled. But with this new postal rule, will that means all gas tanks/magazines will have the same treatment? And getting back to the point, all airsoft guns in Japan have to run on HFC134a, it has been a law for as long as i can remember, i would not even try to run my Tanaka on green gas. But Tokyo Marui? Maruzen? They weren't legally required to be b
  2. Fortunately for you and me, i'm not so nuts to do that, plus i'm really not into the M4/M16 style telescopic stock, but it's interesting to see it done. I guess i'll just have to wait, however the issues with the gas tank gets any worse, i might just do my M1100 mod anyway, i find the pistol grip tank so much more sturdy and reassuring than the marui one or the G&P and the only difficulty will be the nozzle adapter and hose length. While i'll usually balk at breaking up a perfectly good M1100 maruzen, frankly it hasn't seen much use as its not very practical skirmish wise. So might
  3. This is uncomfortable, since my TV, server and ps3 are within a 5m radius of my coffee table with my gas tank on it....I didn't really think this thoroughly! Really should of put it in the spare bedroom or at least in a steel container.... Thanks. now i got another urgent reason to get home faster tonight.....
  4. Huh. I bought my m870 from Ehobby too, i went down to the local store to get it though. I know one thing, they don't respond to emails as fast as a phone call or an order on the website. I once enquire about a gun with an email, two weeks later they called me. By that time, i've already went down to the ehobby store and got a new rifle! So yes, if email is your only means to get in touch with ehobby, be prepared to wait. In the meantime, i think getting a spare tank, isn't a bad idea... hmm...i might get one too. But still haven't checked on my own tank that i left gassed up
  5. If it stays in that shape even when empty then at least it has been stable deformation. But considering the information these kind commenters above have provided, i think its better that you stop using it and get a refund/replacement. I think sending that picture, would be proof enough. Luckily Marui has decided to go with a replaceable system. But it also makes you think, if it's because they were worried about the quality of the tanks that they decided to with a swap system, to not only provide a easy gas change in the field but to replace old and deformed tanks....
  6. Wh-what?! In all my 15yrs of buying and using Airsoft guns and conversion kits, never have i ever experience getting a magazine or any gas tank with the valve disassembled. The only exception is when i bought two replacement inlet valves for my glock magazines. That's fascinating and i'm not entirely sure what's the point? Unless it's a replacement part? Having a gas in a tank/magazine and shipped, is usual to keep o-ring seals tight and lubricated and show to the receiving customer that it has been tested and that there was no defect or leakage. But anyway, I've actually kep
  7. perhaps one-way valve probably needed time to be lubricated and worn in? It's like some magazines need to used a couple of times before they start feeding smoothly.
  8. Nope. been running mine on green gas for three days now, left one semi-full last night. No problem so far. Mind you the temp. here is around 27-29C so i haven't been filling them to the max.
  9. WAIT! They said that? REALLY?! You better not be lying, you'll make a grown man cry if you did.... *takes his pristine M1100 shotgun off the sacrificial alter*
  10. anyone know how to convert the new TM M870 GAS shotgun to a pistol grip? The default one, is driving nuts. Hell, i got a M1100, maybe there is a way to break that up and put it on the M870..... hmmm....
  11. Cheers for the video, looks amazing! Can't wait to get my TM spas-12 body, then i can start working on my own! The external HPA looks mint, but it's hard to get them in Hong Kong, not to mention getting my Airsoft group to allow me to play with that type of rig! lol. But maybe use those small CO2 canisters? They are easy to pick up at any local airsoft shop. But probably get the external pump working first before thinking of switching over to CO2 canisters, not sure if i can fit one in the grip, but i guess i can always strap it to the outside or fit it on a folding stock if i can fi
  12. YES! that's the video i saw too! that's why i want to make one for myself too! Thanks for the tip about the main body! As for the handguard and mag tube i didn't really understand until i had a look at a marui spas-12 take down. Can't i just get a black pvc tube of the same diameter and length and stick the maruzen m1100 magazine guts into it? Would that work? But besides that, where the main heat shield attaches to the body if i extend the magazine tube, that's going to be a challenge too!
  13. woah, that looks amazing! Well im trying to replicate the pump for initial loading of the first shell, then just go with semi, not too bothered about extending the shell capacity, although admittedly might try it out if i can get an intact marui spas-12, might try that to! Would love to see a guide or two, to see how you did it!
  14. O_O!!!!!!! I can't wait! That is what i'm planning to do!
  15. Curse you Typos! >.< Well you know what i meant. Arnies....ARNIES!!!
  16. Hello, have you ever thought that the opinions of this forum could be very influential to companies and retailers alike? I only say this because alot, of people respect this forum and its users, and i think recognise it as a place that represent Airsoft users across the world. It would be nice to have on the front page, maybe the latest reviewed retailer or product, and have a clear and distinct "Arnies Top Award" Graphic badge or something, based upon the scores rated by the reviewers! I'm not saying we should do it very formally, but it would be nice that an automatic badge wi
  17. nice. kinda getting tired having to skip the front page and look though the News forum (yeah im lazy) All hail R22!! Crown Regent!
  18. Have you lubed it? Make sure you have Silicone grease, which you can get from any decent DIY shop or electronics place (No. DIXONS is not one of them) I got some reasonable one from Maplin. Just spray it in the barrel, in the magazine feeding tube (you'll see it when you peer in the handle) and that should sort it out. If it doesn't use the cleaning rod supplied and carefully jam it down the barrel, and se if anything pops out from the handle. If all else fails just return it, and get a replacement, if your reluctant to, or can't then the last resort is to fix it yours
  19. I used to shoot mosquitos when i could reach my GBB when i lived in HK...ahh...the good old days....
  20. sad thing the undershotgun doesn't work..... Have ever consider putting a compact madbull grenade launcher into that dummy shotgun? That'll be cool if you could add that on....
  21. lemon bb's? Seriously, i will buy it off you! i don't care if it's faulty, i'll fix it myself. But it'll depend on the price, if it fires like a lemon, sell it for a lemon. give ya £5, enough to buy you you bags of premium lemons. No seriously, state the price we will negotiate, after all from what your saying, it sounds like a minor defect, and i suddenly have the urge to go akimbo...
