  1. I figured out how to mount the bipod swivel without disassembling the handguard to kingdom-come. Here's the "Black Mamba" in a true S (Sharpshooter), designated-marksman variant.

  2. 'lookin' for realism? The first vid is a bit blurry. I didn't bother to do another take as this is just a test-run. But, check this out and let me know what you think.

  3. The mismatched suppressor size and caliber markings are a bit irritating. The performance and the photo-op meter somewhat compensates for this pistol's misgivings, though. 'still looking for the correct suppressor.

Nothing new here, just a bit different presentation.

  5. That's one hell of a rifle Hanzo.

    However it's a Mk.12 Mod.0 5.56

    The Mk.11 is 7.62

    Great gun nontheless.

    -Luis

That, you're quite right, Luis. Indeed a Mk. 11 is chambered with 7.62 and a Mk. 12 is 5.56. Thanks for the correction.

  6. Kenworth -

    The Long.

I'd be lucky if I'm able to nail anyone consistently inside the 200ft range. Even with heavier BBs (.28s or .30s), airsoft is just not meant for accurate target acquisition and neutralization. Also, given the FPS limitations of most fields, it's very rare that I swap/upgrade with internals that'll allow for maximum effective range engagements (550fps). She currently shoots under 430fps at the moment.

    The Short.

Depending on windage, elevation and clear line of sight, between 130ft - 150ft

I don't know what generation the PTW M4 variant is at now. Mine is the first of the MAX generation with an upgraded 6.04 barrel. Her 3-round burst mode has found many a good target. She's proven herself very durable and faithful throughout the three some odd years I've had her.

She's still my main battle rifle (with the SPR as a distant secondary) to this date.

  9. Those will not ift under a helmet. They are great for use in an industrial settings where you need simple comms and hearing protection. Airport ramp agents and heavy equipment operation.

They are well made however and will do the job nicely.

    Thanks, WB.

I usually wear a head-wrap (vs. a helmet) or an operator's cap when at play. 'just gotten tired of loosin' radios left and right and having to mess with wires/cables way too much. 'hope to be a bit more agile with this all-in-one comm setup.

  10. Has anyone here ever used a Peltor PowerCom Plus radio/headset?

  11. Joe - Only YOU would notice the Corframs! *clap* *clap*

The over-coat is tailor-made gabardine/wool and is quite heavy -- way too warm for the photo-op, actually. I think I'll have one customized, perhaps in cotton, just like Neo's in Matrix Revolution. We'll see... :)

  12. I suppose this doens't fit in the armalite thread, does it? :P

I have a replica 551 on order for it, I suppose it'll fit the Seburo-style a bit more than the aimpoint.

That is such an unholy alliance of parts! Two thumbs up for originality and just plain "scare-the-cr@p-out-of-me" factor. LOL
