  1. Funny you ask: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...dpost&p=1305650

Some pics of the finished "for now" setup. I'm going to go to the university and try out my new 4x4 filters, so I'll post some footage later on, nothing terribly exciting I'm afraid. Lack of airsoft games is the problem.

That is such a sweet load out. What an eye candy! *drooling* I hope the performance doesn't disappoint you. I can almost see a "Tom Weber" style (

) airsoft marketing video coming out of that beauty!
  2. Hanzo, thats exactly how I want my M4 to look. Except with the ACOG on a flat top.

@CrunchyBunny -- Mounting the Acog to the carrying handle is more of a personal preference. You'd rarely see servicemen/women take advantage of this feature, but it's a configuration that has worked very well for me.

  3. Thanks for the correction, Titleist. I always get those two confused.

And you're right about Systema's seeming inability to make a business decision to support a wider market (airsoft vs. MIL/LE?). For the $$$ they asked for the PTW, you'd think it would be built to supersede most competitions.

BTW, how's the new super-duper motion pic camera you have? Is it doll'ed up for high speed filming as well? Would be nice to see some actions on that bad boy!

Just a correction, that's not a TA01 NSN, the NSN has the iron sights, that's just be the TA01.

  4. Or the War & Peace Show! :D

How much did this run you, out of interest? The Russian guy I bought my issue ACUs (new with supply tags, IR tabs, wrinkle-free treatment, etc) from had Point Blank IBAs in all colours (woodycam, CB, tricolour and UCP) for £350 (about $700-ish). They came with soft armour, too. All new with tags.

Mine is "used" so price tag is a lot lower. Still for milsim games, I hope I don't have to encounter anyone shooting beyond 700FPS to prove the ballistic capabilities of the vest, ha-ha!

Got mine under $300 shipped from the U.K., believe or not. :)

  5. Below is the Pointblank Interceptor Body Armor with soft ballistic inserts (that exceeds NIJ Level IIIA 9mm protection).

It's been a long time hunting and waiting, but I finally got my elusive ballistic vest. Got it "used," but these suckers are NOT found anywhere else except if you're in the armed forces (or patiently waiting for an eBay auction).

  6. You have the guns, now all you need are the people and you'll have your own airsoft army.

//edit - I see Keyzer's M14SOPMOD up there isn't it? Are all those guns yours or the team's?!

Yup! That M14 Sopmod used to be KeyserSoze's. The SparrowUnit tends to sell within the team first. Our hearts break when a fine piece of airsoft machinery wanders outside of the "nest."

...and yes... the "wall" collection belongs to only one owner.

    :D

  7. Not as plenty as Gunlady's, but just several collections...

    As of 01/02/06

Not sure if I updated the board and rack, so here they are.

You will notice the paper Socom has gone and there's a real one there now. The paper one shot like c###p anyway!

The first board has been completely rehased and now has more guns on it.

The rifle rack is a bit clearer in this shot.

There are more guns but they're boxed (or cased, whichever you like).

  8. Thanks, gents! I think the M60 platform is often over-looked and under-estimated. It will be nice to see the major vendors out there compete for the best airsoft version of this fine tool of warfare.

Hopefully, it's just a matter of time...

    Hanzo, out.

  9. Just wanted to share this M60 mod with the rest. Enjoy...

    The inspiration, an M60E4 Mk43 Mod1

The "Sparrowized" version, an M60E3 Mk43 Mod1. I'm trying this out with an ACOG TA11, instead of an Elcan 3x40 scope, for the time being.
