Exactly why it shouldn't be a thread it the forums, as essentially it would be inflicting it on the rest of you. Something a less in the centre of attention would be much better.

After a few quite amusing things in IRC, I wonder if there could be a database of sorts, where we can add amusing or embarrassing quotes from the chatroom?

Nope, elrey drops in from time to time, but none of the ops are forum mods. And that is quite nice. edit: v.arena. "Ops" are IRC mods.

On a more serious note, I've not really noticed any problems, although we did have one person come into IRC today wondering if there were any mods around.
