  1. Sorry for the delay, here's disassembly pics! First get to this step: take off upper rail via two allen screws, then take off the front barrel part by unscrewing the barrel ring and 2 mag tube nuts. Take off cover that reveals the 6/3 shot lever. Take off the two pins holding lower to upper. Pull lower off upper. Unscrew round head screw, Philips, one on each side. Pull off butt stock piece, just like you would on the real one. Pry the front halves of the cheekrest slightly apart. Pull cheekrest towards back and off. Be careful, since there's a
  2. I'm confused, I thought ASG just rebranded *suitcase* and didn't actually make guns themselves. Am I wrong?

It seems they are a little of both. The blur of the line (or lines) get confusing after so many years I feel.

They assemble the Evo 3 themselves but everything else is made by OEM factories

  3.   They're eh. Had some issue with the trigger bar being slightly too wide at the back, also it doesn't fit 100% flush with the lower frame even though both are made by SD. Can't justify metal grips though lol, so plastic works for me.
  4. Just completed my dream pistol build, since I first saw junior's on AirsoftBarracks. STI Executive.     Better pics to come later!   Also side question, how the hell do I get the right half of a Nova ambi safety to stay in?
  5. Dammit the grip is my favorite part lol although that makes sense. I'd have to get the KA PSG1 grip right? Did you use a V4 nozzle w/ the stock hopup unit, or a G3 nozzle w/ a new G3 hopup unit?
  6. When your boomstick is also a spacegat
  7. So the receiver/grip is G3-based, not the original PSG1 body?
  8. Oh my god please tell me how you did the gearbox conversion.
  9. Not yet, been busy as hell with tests. I'm awaiting a set of TBB's before opening the gun again. I can check for you with pics too.
  10. Not sure if it's out the front or side, I'd have to check.
  11. So I got my KSG apart today to install the SAT upgraded output valve. Entire gas assembly in the gun is one piece, and was pretty easy to swap. I didn't manage to test fire with BB's, but something I reinstalled was bad since I got a constant leak :/, so I'll have to open it up again and see what's causing it. The gun isn't too hard to take apart, but there are a metric ton of screws. Also, inner barrel length is closer to 260-280mm, but can be extended almost all the way to 360mm.
  12. The moment when you realize you pay $80,000 for your education, and one of your professors quotes the Daily Mail in their powerpoint. *facepalm*

eh, most of my professors back then couldn't teach their subject matter if their job depended on it. Explains why my degree is worth less than toilet paper.

The worst part was the quote was from the 'showbiz' section in an article talking about kanye's newest clothing line.

Well you'd expect a bit more considering you're getting a doctorate degree in four years lol.

  13. Is that an older SMR Mk4? Those Keymod panels or MLOK panels?
  14. After 2 months of procrastination, finally put my BTC Chimera in my ACR :)

Awww yeah. Awesome to have them back. A few BBC execs will be crying themselves to sleep tonight ha ha.

  16. STI Executive build almost done! :D

  17. I'm guessing you're missing some kind of spring in there maybe? Haven't had that problem at all.
  18. Berserk, do you find it harder to shove the shells into the holding chamber on the left than it is to put it into the feed chamber on the right?
  19. I found some .28s so I can try an indoor test later, but I probably won't have the time to field it until much later :/. At some point I'll take it completely apart though, just to find out how the innards are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. No, out of the front of the muzzle. There didn't seem to be a leak coming from the stock.
  21. Much better with MBUS. Also, the canister does hold propane without issue. However, it seems like when it's plugged in sometimes, the gas will leak out the front. Not sure how this works, and it also doesn't happen every time I do it.
  22. Has anyone printed more realistic stickers for TM/clone shotgun shells? I thought I vaguely remember someone did it here, but I can't find the thread/picture about it.

I, too, remember something about more realistic stickers. I think they were breacher shells. But I also can't remember where that was.
