  1. Well to be honest Sonny, if the part breaks, it's going to break again, you might have more luck waiting yet a little longer for 3rd party upgrades.. my loading nozzle broke during my first mag, but after all this is airsoft, expecting things to work the first time and last forever is pure fantasy... as the saying doesn't go, if it's not broke, fix it before it breaks another part.

Problem is, I never fired the gun. Not holding companies like this accountable does nothing but help them get away with this type of BS. I know sometimes things happen, but its how the company handles the situation that makes them stand out from others. I have no confidence in KWA anymore after this.

  2. After dealing with KWA..I will never purchase anything from them again.

After a 3 month long wait on a part, for a gun that broke 10 min after opening the box I finally had the "priveledge" of PURCHASING the part. Thanks to KWA for their stellar customer service, instead of taking care of the customer after a long, brutal, and frustrating wait of having to chase after them for the part. Not once ever updating me on the status, or even telling me when it came in. Each week I had to take time out to update my ticket asking about the part. Each time was told in a few weeks. Wasting more of my time, while a brand new gun sat on my desk like a $325+ paperweight.

Finally when the part comes in...I'm told my gun is no longer in warranty because its passed its 45 day period, and I took the orange tip off. Mind you...I had to scrape the orange off to be able to even put the flashhider cover on. Plus its not completely off, nor painted over. The orange paint was too thick to put cover on.

Thankfully, the part is ONLY $18, but it's the principle that the gun should have been working from day one, not costing me MORE money to have what I payed for in the first place. KWA also feels they did me a great FAVOR for getting the part in the first place.

So here's a warning to all...never buy a pre-order item from KWA ever! They will not have any parts for it if it turns out to be a lemon. If your gun breaks, it will sit there for 3-6 months until they finally get parts from the factory, and that comes directly from their mouth. They will apologize and apologize, but when it comes to actually giving good customer service...they fail.

  3. I wish I could use mine. Its been over a month now since getting it, when it broke on day one. Contacted KWA December 26th and getting no help from them. All I get are excuses about them not having replacement parts from factory. Im glad I didn't send my gun in when they first asked, otherwise it would still be sitting in their repair center 4 weeks later. Very disappointed in their customer service. I think I've been very patient with them. This really is unacceptable.

Don't break your gun anytime soon and expect the warranty to fix it.

  4. I just got mine today. Wanted to put my flashlight in, so started to disassemble. While pulling out my bolt carrier assembly the front part of the bolt nozzle snapped off. I follwoed the instructions I thought perfectly, and didnt yank it out. Now doesn't create a seal to hold the pressure. Contacted KWA, and told them exactly what part number it is that I need, took pictures, and they still want me to send the whole gun in. Makes no sense.

  5. I kind of used magic..

Pulled out my private parts magwell, and will a slight modification to the pin hole was able to fit it on. Feeds fine, but pmags are a little hard to put in. Have to hold the mag release to seat them properly.

  6. Nice setup mate - similar to what i'd like to do. Tell me - do the Pmags go into a Tavor without any modification whatsoever?

They will fit if you slap them in a little, or if you file down the little catch that holds the BB's from flying out of the mag down a little as per Beretta on the review thread. Mine fit tight and snug with no wobble.

  7. At first my Pmags wouldn't lock in, but after working them a little they did after a good slap. I think it may just be due to the gun being brand new.

My gun was made December 8th 2009, and doesnt seem to have the barrel wobble other people talked about. When looking in, it looks like the same method they used on the DE version is there. However the same issue with the mag release is there. You would think they would have fixed that in the newer batches. Otherwise Im extremely impressed with this gun. After having the TSI....this is a dream!

  8. Just got this in the mail today.

Outside box, while nothing to rave about seems to be the standard artwork as of late.

Inside (only comes with one mag, I ordered extras):

Upon opening the box the first thing I see is the horrible orange paint. Being painted on plastic, had to make sure to take extra steps not to ruin it. After testing the underside of the slide with both types of nail polish remover, I found alcohol to work best. Thankfully Redwolf doesn't use thick orange paint like evike and others. The only problem I ran into was the plastic was actually painted with a matte FDE paint to cut down on the plastics shine. While removing the orange I had also removed a thin layer of paint. Its not even that noticeable in person unless you look really hard. The camera picked it up more so.

While being mostly plastic, other then the controls, it feels nice. Has the look of a hicappa, but the heart of a 1911. Takes 1911 mags from the MEU or 1911 Gov. models(confirmed). The Kimber style grips make it feel thicker which makes getting to the slide release a little harder one handed. While the rail can be removed, it looks weird having the holes there. The outer barrel is a shiny silver(sadly plastic)...which doesn't make it very tactical...just tacticool! Mould lines are like invisible. I can only find a few points where the plastic was snapped off, but usually in spots not seen.

The blowback is nice and crispy, typical of TM pistols. I chrono'd mine at 277-294fps with green gas. I'm not positive yet if it can handle green, but most TM's usually do. When looking at the slide, it doesn't seem to be re-enforced with any metal. Just surrounding the blow back unit. So that makes be think its a possible chance of the slide buckling at some point. If it does, I will buy an aftermarket metal slide when/if they do come out. Judging by the popularity of TM's gun its only a matter of time.

I don't have a 1911 specialized holster to test fit, but heard it fits in the serpa without the rail.

    Price(Redwolf): $136

    Shipping(from HK): $30

  9. Yep its an AEG. Seen it in person, beautiful gun!

Andy thinks hes Rambo with that gun. Grabbing the bipod with one hand, and shooting from the hip yelling German obscenities at the enemy. I wish I had a camera at the time :P
