Cock back the bolt, and put it on safe then insert the mag. Just wanted to note, when I changed out my buffer tube for an ACM UBR I ran into an issue. Since the buffer tube is longer then the standard, the spring would not push back the bolt enough when it blew back. Which caused the bolt to get stuck between the buffer tube and the rim of the receiver. Had to put a spacer in the buffer tube to prevent this. Might order a higher spring to stop it as well. When the bolt was stuck I had to stick a screw driver down the very back of the buffer tube to push the bolt forward as it was prev

Thanks It was not a drop fit at all. I had to force the barrel nut onto the thread and slowly grind the threading down to fit. Not sure I have it 100% on either. As I said I broke my AR tool getting it on. Question for anyone with a DD rail...is the ring held down by the barrel nut slightly loose or completely clamped down by the nut with no movement? Same here! I dont see that happening. As I dont know if the polymer can handle the stress of the gas or not. I quess we can only hope...

Since its a gas blow back I dont have many choices at the moment on mags. Thats how the mag came with the gun. I thought it was strange myself seeing how dark it was compared to the guns finish. Might try to take off the bottom plate and put a ranger magpul on it, if it allows me to without affecting the how the mag works. Not sure, as I originally wanted to put my real Eotech 552 on it. However it canted on the rail for some reason and wasnt secure. Since the gun has some recoil wanted to make sure the optic kept its zero. Was even thinking of putting a mini aimpoint

I finally got my AR tool to take off the front barrel nut and buffer tube. However ran into a problem fitting the barrel nut from the DD 9" rail. Seems it doesnt like G&P's body, as I had to force it on. While doing do I snaps the tabs off the AR tool, so the barrel nut isnt 100% on, but the rail is tight and secure. Kind of ###### me off to find the Socomgear version doesnt allow for a gus tube. I missed that in its desciption. The quality is very nice. Im extremely impressed with the finish. Smooth, and well painted. No bubbles, rust, or blemishes. At first I was worried when I felt how light it is, but it feels solid. Worth the $80 I paid.

No snading needed to fit mine in any guns I have. Infact I wish all my mags fit as snug as these clones do. No wobble, and click solid.

If it has a clear window then its the Pmag clone, since Magpuls dont have them on any of theirs. Shame the ranger plate doesnt fit the clones properly.

Thanks Yes it absolutely is on the wrong way. The spring loaded pin that holds it in place fell out, and in order to keep it tight it has to be upside down sadly. I gave up on trying to correct it, so I just let it be.
