My team has new patches in PVC: a poor quality pic showing the new patches on the range of camo patterns the team uses.

Element Com-Tac II Replica
themonkeyfromoutbreak replied to Delta_Knight's topic in Tactical Equipment and Accessories
I recenty bought a set of these with the replica peltor ptt. Had a problem initially with the headset plug and the ptt which was that as soon as I plugged in the headset to the ptt, it was constantly on send. I rectified this by filing/sanding down the headset plug so it could fully fit into the ptt. All in all I think they are great value for money (pay for what you get). As has already been said, this item will help finish off a look or impression, I am going to give them a go on the skirmish field as soon as possible and I shall post results. -

Please excuse my bulge and if me wearing Pararescue patches offends you. Tried to get some in game photos while I was wearing it but I was enjoying myself too much in game. First aid kit is on left side of rig with EMT shears, markers & cascards. I posted earlier that I was worried about a drop-leg holster interfering with the harness & that I was thinking of running a belt holster, well during the game I was wearing a 6004 and worked a dream. Any suggestions?

I guess your right, any climbing/abseiling/rappelling I have done I have not a pistol but the chances of me doing any rappelling on a UK airsoft site are slim. The holster wont fit on the molle belt & I am not too keen on the idea of using a molle platform. I will give the 6004 a try out but I cant see it being comfortable.

OT but I used to see that type of floor every day in my old barracks, in Chelsea, London.

Thanks, I havnt skirmished with this setup yet but have ran around the house playing PJ and pistol seems okay on the harness. I do have a 6004 for the M9 but I wasnt sure if a leg rig would be a good idea with a harness. I did think about krylon just to take the god awful shine off the holster as its a copy.

My PJ loadout, gonna be wearing this over RAID modded DCU's. Missing from pic are beeners, fig 8 & MICH, also mags for toys.

Wow, it does indeed! Its not the one I used though, believe me or not hehe. The LRDG of WWII wore a small metal badge on their berets/headgear, which was a scorpion within a circle. Which was the idea I was trying to lovingly rip off.

The KOBRA didnt come with side mount, on my CA SLR105 there is no side mount support bracket. Also what the guys said above. I got the KOBRA years ago as part of a big cheap deal (4 AEG's, KOBRA, mags for £400), it had the 20mm clamp on it already.

My team might just have the longest name going. Deniable Operations Executive Operational Detachment Alpha However this can be shortened to fit onto our badges to DOE ODA. On the left is for our woodland loadout & the right for our desert/urban loadout. I designed the badge using inspiration from many places, the scorpion from the LRDG, the badge shape from JSOC patch, the DOE is a nod and a wink to the SOE & Executive Outcomes & ODA is lifted from the SF ODA teams. We had already decided on the name before I made the badge design.

I sold my RS KOBRA sight & instantly regretted it. Luckily the gentleman I sold it to needed to make some cash & I bought it back from him. It is now mounted on my CA SLR105 as seen below.

I have a real one. I don't like it much. Someone on another forum is buying it from me, I have used it maybe twice since got it (about 5 years).
