Odd, it does seem to remove them when they are linked like that when but I was quoting in the picture threads the other day and I couldn't see a way to remove the tags.The pics it was quoting were with [img= picture url ] from places like photobucket. If you try quoting this pic you might see what I mean

It may be me being a bit dense but have we lost the ability to remove the image tags from quotes? I was replying with a quote in the picture threads and instead of seeing the tags all I got in my reply box was the original picture rather than the old url with tags. ----Arn Edit - testing image requoting----- Adding an image to quote

I managed to sort it. My pins were slightly damaged and bulged out near the cut for the springs. I filed them smooth and they've been fine since.

I love the first one, I think I'm going to go a similar way with my WE K.Where did you get the bipod legs as I've been considering getting some for mine. I don't know if the version Chas has there is the same but on the WE G36K the hand guard appears to have the fitting points for a bipod.

That's what I thought too. I just applied a little more brute force and ignorance and it eventually moved. I did bend the tip of my screwdriver in the process though. It seems WE really like their thread lock.

Can anyone give me some tips for taking the barrel nut off? I've read Kruks guide back in the thread about stripping the barrel down but I'm falling at the first hurdle. So far I've tried the good old "receiver between your knees, and torque it like you're a dodge viper, An angry dodge viper" method but it just looks like I'm going to bend my screw driver. Is it thread locked on and if so any tips on loosening it? Also it is a standard thread isn't it? lefty loosey and all that. Also does anyone know of a way to drop the fps slightly without fitting an npas? I've got a CQB game on sunday

More WE G39. I can't make my mind up on the bullet sticker but I'm happy with the rest of it more or less. Just needs a light for CQB and an NPAS something tells me my local CQB site won't let me use a gun that averages 364fps. Can anyone help me with disassembly? The rear pin just refuses to come out. It will move about 10-15mm then just stick, I don't want to force it and break something.

Nope, no matter what I do it refuses to work properly. I think the "Marlowe gearbox fix" is in order, in other words buy a new gearbox.

Hey, if you replace every item in the gearbox INCLUDING the gearbox shell and it still is messing around, then a new gearbox makes sense.

The main thing I have heard is the mags develop leaks pretty quick?

Like all things WE the mags leak pretty quickly but this is one of the few WE guns that i have seen hold up to use for at least a year.

I've been thinking that too, It's just a shame they don't do OD/RG. I'll probably just go with MC and cover it in OD pouches. Does anyone know if AK mags ('47 and beta project) will fit in the inbuilt mag pouches also would a full size hydro pouch fit on the back?

Very nice Kruck. Which magwell/mainspring housing is that? I wish TM would make a chrome version of one of their many 1911 variants so people who want one wouldn't have to spend a fortune on making metal ones.

They are kinda triangular so it would almost look like a car-15.

It should have a UBR and MOE hand guards then it would truly be a magpul CAR-15. Is it wrong that the only thing I'm not too keen on in that pic is the 30 round mag? I bet it's got a hell of a bark with that Noveske on there too.
