It doesn't rub off that easily, but after putting a few mags through the gun, I can already see a little of the finish rubbing off on the outer edges.

If you get the newest version of the gun, and not one of the lemons(I heard some people were getting fubar-ed guns out of the box), it is really a fantastic gun. I use mine stock with a PK-A reddot scope, and once the hopup sets in, it's amazingly accurate. One of my favorite guns to bring to the skirmish site.
