Yeah, think maybe it was supposed to be used with an external gas source. Have seen pics. with qd nipple sticking out from the mag.

Wow Vorpalbunnie, don't see those everyday! Its the Tanaka right? Always wondered how they shot.

I don't know about UK, but they no longer ship to Denmark. The reason for this might be that parcels are checked by Danish customs and handed over to Danish postal service, that refuse to ship airsoft parts and just send them right back. Evike apparently wont use international UPS (they have their own Danish customs department and don't care about shipping airsoft parts). What AEG where you trying to buy?

Or just re-release the nbb so we can get with the Vice look!
-
Alas Marui did before the dawn of man make a gbb Hi-power. By today's standards its an antique. BTW that is utterly stunning Wolf!
-
Nice looking Kimbers, what kits are they? On another note I have the exact same book although less dirty
-
On the Maruzen one the rear part of the body protrudes and is threaded to accept the stock screw. On some of the ACM clones the stock screw mounts to a a nut in the rear portion of the inner body. It can probably be modded to fit though. Don't know about the pump/grip though.

Its too small to be a BB.
-
Wow you don't see that every day! Is it a springer? Maybe the same company that made a socimi ages ago.

Very good info RC. The Carom kit can be hard to get, so modified wingun shells might be cheaper and easier to get a hold of. I have wanted to get one of these for a long time. Already have upgrade barrel+valve and a rail mount. Now I just need some money. Please keep on updating if any news RC .

That looks extremely well made! Nice job. It might be tough and take time with hard wood types but at least it wont chip easily and it looks real nice too.

Good man! You restored my faith in humanity on such an otherwise bleak day

That is such a good idea Mightyjebus! I have been looking at the straight mag options available and cursing that none look authentic. Was in the process of buying the Angel custom ones, but they are a copy of old school 10mm ones, and turns out Evike cant ship to Denmark. Thought about converting RS, but I would need a permit for that. Completely forgot that 3D printers existed best idea ever.
-
No waaaay! That is brilliant Mightyjebus. Does it work and what internals are You using for it? Please tell us more about that wonderful mag.
-
I think it was the Ra-Tech video on youtube where they stated which of the internal parts were steel and which were alu or pot metal. Making a new buffer might be a good idea to slow the crazy ROF. Thanks for the review Brigg, lets hope that a full metal kit will be made.

Some of the HK shops still have some of the KSC/KWA models in stock, I think the one posted by jes is available at UNCompany. Once there was a kwa version with a metal slide but have not seen one in ages. I think there is a review of one on the old part of the forum.
-
Thought it was the spring version, not the NBB, my bad.
-
That is brilliant! Does the piston have enough compression to support the long barrel?
-
How is the recoil? Considering the heavy slide. Does WA R-type beat Marui hi-capa?
-
Gdamit Wolf! Now I have to pick my jaw up of the floor! That is truly magnificent!
-
You can use the 150% recoil spring without problems on the stock slide. I used to, but then again it is rather cold hereabouts så gas pressure was never that high. As for internal parts breaking- well if you leave it more or less stock, it will work and work and work. I have only ever had the nozzles break on two hi-capas, but that was after installing a lot of upgrades! If you want a little more range+power you can install new hop rubber and a TBB, this won't affect other internals.

Cool. Think I'm gonna try and get my mitts on some different products and try them on different kinds of metal materials. It can be so hard to predict how pot metals are going to react to different chemicals!
-
Very cool. Did not know it would work with pot metal. Must get some and have a try. Thanks ClockworkO

How did you do it? Looks real good
