  1. I have been eyeing the Zeke kits for the Maruzen. Looks really good. Desert Express any more info on it?
  2. Thank you very much for inlightening me. I think I have seen pics of versions without the internal mag and inherent scope mount. But how to load the one bb at a time on that version eludes me. Such an interesting gun, hope I get a chance to purchase one in the future (though I have no idea where?).
  3. Good lord, have been looking for one of those in ages! Very high on my wishlist next to the Kokusai scoremaster. Mightyjebus can you post some more info?
  4. It seems that the sig 552 ris, 551 ris and 550 full metal aeg blowback was realeased last year. Most likely through cybergun who put the Swiss arms brand name on everything. I have considered getting the 551, but I cant find any reviews online for any of the three rifles from this series. Any info on the build quality or the internals would be greatly appreciated Chas! btw the c-more fits the 552 realy nice!
  5. wonderful guns! AndyJP does the outer barrel from the TM fit the Maruzen?
  6. What kind of mags do you guys use? I had no luck with std TM midcap and ka plastic mid-caps. The mags that came with the gun misfed in full auto though. Found some cheap china Pmags that seem to work. One thing to note is that the screw that retains the stock to the upper reciever often comes loose and the stock will start to wobble. Remember to loctite this!
  7. Hej Mad-larkin I think the 556 shorty is another design than the one mentioned on this thread. Its King arms as the one mentioned here is Cyma taking the design from the GWS kit. You might try the same kind of pin from the ICS sig 55- series, maybe it will fit! If I remember correctly there are a couple of ICS distributers in the Uk that might stock these. Can't remember names though.
  8. Just chronoed it again. X-3001 chrono, KA 0,2 platinum bb's ,string of 50 bb's (hop turned all the way down). Got pretty stabil 403fps +/- 9fps. Maybe the spring settled in a little since last time i chronoed. Zapman, I had no such problem with the original motor (it now resides in TM sig 551). Like crackisbad said, you'd better have another look and see if all is as it should be! Oh, I also shimmed the hop-arm using thin strips of aluminium and superglue. It is now much more sturdy and not so many fliers. (simpel and cheap mod. )
  9. I'm using a guarder m120 spring but I cant remember the fps it puts out. Think I wrote it down somewhere, will have a look. I do remember the getting great variations in fps, most likely due to the airloss at the nozzle. The element o-ring nozzle I have is 20,70mm so hopefully it will fit.
  10. The gears and bushings seem quite good. I changed the springguide for a bearing type though. The nozzle is rather bad but I hope to change this to a p90 type nozzle with o-ring. Hopefully it will fit with minor sanding. The standard motor is ok, but I used a systema motor (for the Sig series). This boosted rof to 26 per second with 9,6v 1500mah. Of course I polished the cylinder and deburred the gearbox while at it. I have also installed a silent piston and pistonhead and a m120 spring, guarder clear hop, v-shaped hop bucking and cut down tb barrel. These things are far from necessary though,
  11. That is probably the airsoft surgeon power up floating valve. Heard it was a good valve but the spring with it didnt run well on non powerfull gases. It seems most people just used the regular spring.
  12. odd? just tried that one pack. Maybe a bad batch?
  13. First of all, those are some lovely glocks indeed. Love the g34! I also had problems with the speedplates. Had to file them down to fit. Then they became too flimsy and two of them broke! Will also get the +2 instead.
  14. Very beautiful, drool drool. What do you know, I thought Detonator was Japanese!?! Their products seem high priced, but look like realy good quality.
  15. Thanks renegadecow, very useful indeed! I like the cornpipe in the last pic
  16. wonderful, taking housbroken to a new level! Once tought my old cat to open doors, turned out it was a pain, repeatedly thought it was a burgler turning the door knob.
  17. I've seen rocket valves break on both a ksc g18 and kwa g17 after about 12 mags on GG. But on the other hand I've seen more then a dusin ksc/kwa glocks go severel hundred rounds without this problem. Seems as the weak points in these models are almost always the mag-catch and rocket valve. I've used three SD valves so far without a problem.
