  1. Hej vorpalbunnie, what kind of multi shot shells are you using for the Digicon target? I've been trying for years to get hold of some Angs or KM Head ones. I even tried to enlarge a Guarder shell with a drill press but alas it didn't work.

  2. To my knowledge only the Marushin NBB and the BV driven FTC exist (they also made a full auto M712 with the same system). I have seen pics. in the past of Japanese conversions of the KSC CZ75 into a Bren Ten, but these were homemade chop jobs.

  3. Nooo! Vorpalbunnie, you've been posting all sorts of rare goodness the last couple of days. This time I have to comment! This is only the second pic of a FTC Bren I've ever seen (the other being in Arms magazine from 1993). The Socimi was special but this is really something  :)  Very cool I must say.

  4. The newer 6mm versions dont have the horrible LD2 hop. Instead its just a grub screw on small hop patch (pretty much the same type of patch  as KJ mk1 and Tanaka m40 rifles in case you need spares).  Range is pretty good but precision is def. not. I ended up making a new hop less barrel that extended all the way to the end of the outer barrel. I also made it to have a lot tighter tolerance towards the cylinder and fake shells. This helps maximize gas efficiency and fps. One thing I noticed is when using such a tight head-space the barrel crowning toward the chamber has to be pretty deep. Otherwise when firing double action the bb´s will hit the sides of the barrel creating hop effect to the left and right.

  5. Very cool! I have been contemplating trying something similar but using the Marushin UZI as a base gun. This might also solve not breaking any laws regarding RS parts.

I gotta say, that is hella cool GRIM :)

  6. Good looking gun. Most of the first gen gbb guns had most of their internals somewhere between the frame and grip. I remember back in the day taking apart Yonezawa 1911's, looked similar but much cheaper. Think WA where the first with their m92 to make the internals two part so that you could remove the slide in a realistic manner.

  7. Catgutviolin shame about the Haw San but on the other hand that denix conversion looks hella cool! How is the metal on the denix? I've tried some of their revolver models and sometimes the metal is so brittle that it can snap of but I really want a double barrel!
