  1. I don't have one of the FDE acogs but a couple of guys on my team do. From what I can tell they are a much more of a yellow-gold as apposed to my scar's upper which is more of a dark earth with a gold tint. I think the new blockII FDE color is ugly as hell myself. The next time I see either of the guys I'll pop an acog on the scar and take a pic for you.
  2. I just took a couple strips of pals off an old vest and attached it to the velcro portion on the inside of the vest, then attached velcro to the other side of the pouches to help support the cumberbund. I believe its the same way that paraclete's pouch works. Either way it still works like a charm.

  4. That would never fit into a TM magazine. They won't ever produce a gun that sleek and good looking. I'll have to agree that looks better without the compensator, but either way...
  5. What did that start off as? The mags and crazy trigger lead me to believe WE, but everything else says WA or TM. I'm very jealous of that surefire btw.
  6. Thanks They are the standard TM meu novak sights with nitesiters on them. I haven't chrono'd it yet but I'm expecting something like 330fps on propane in room temperature. The actual kick is really nice. It was definitely worth the money just for those upgrades to help out with that.
  7. I still have a lot of fine tuning to do but its pretty close to done. Sorry the single pic so crappy. The weather was getting kind of nasty as I went outside. 8. I can't really figure out if I'm relieved or angry after trying so hard to get them out.
  9. Does anyone know what size hex wrenches are needed to take the front and rear sights off? Taking this thing apart gets old fast.
  10. Or you could just paint the little white dots on there yourself... If you're not glowing in the dark by the time you finish the project you get a cookie.
  11. You could try some of these. I'm sure they're not as good as tritium, but for $10 you really can't go wrong.
  12. Last time I saw the P226 and the 1911A1 they were around $120. The meusoc is $150, so $30 difference. These are just the prices from the places from where I shop, I'm sure they vary from place to place slightly. This is irrelevant though. You just saved me $70. Thanks man.
  13. Lol, it better not be full metal, as I bought a metal kit with it. I was just wondering if the parts like the mainspring housing and safety are metal. I heard that some of the metal parts on the 1911A1 are now plastic on the meusoc. I'm just trying to figure out what other after market parts I'm going to buy. The prices I was comparing it to were other stock TM gbb's, as its $30-40 more.
  14. What parts on the gun are metal.
