Simple, US SF use the most gucci kit, theres so many gubbins you can strap on an AR15 its mental, then theres all the modular kit which is being copied by most other countires. Theres something about those strips of webbing that makes people think "this is the best ever"..... Dont get me started on US SF helmets...

Have you got any detailed pics of the 6B4? Also what armour is this?: I know the vest is a 6sh92 varient, but i dont know the name of the armour.

Second one is same as i used at Cold war, just different rifle. The hands fine, it stoped bleeding after a few mins.

Considering the rate at which the US MIC replaces equipment, i would consider anything from the late 1990s to early 2000s fairly recent, just not brand new... Now this is Old School:

With the new jackets you cant roll hoods though, my mate got issued one in the OTC and the hood is fixed and wired, with no where to roll the hood.

Gadge: There is a difference between the Partizan Suit and the Gorka-E (SS summer pattern). The partizan suit, can be in either SS-Summer or SS Autumn these are reversable camo coveralls. Although the reversed side is more of a bleed through of the original camo. The Gorka-E (SS summer pattern) is simply a mountain Suit with patches of Camo, The olive part is simpl the duck cotton that all gorkas are made of, and the camo patches are the reinforced parts. They are two Different Suits for two differet purposes.

The point is that at no point was it specifically mentioned that it was for US Army only.... So if the thread title is simply Army SF, then that should allow British army (or any army) Special Forces.

well considering this site is .co.uk, if there is a thread titled Army SF, the assumption should be British army SF not US - therefore thread title is misleading.... So poster is not really at fault is he....
